QUOTE(izwan.rasip @ Apr 26 2010, 06:13 PM) lol... was just thinking about the entry speed at the first hump in the photo. although theres a long straight, the bank section might just be able to slow down the car just nice to pass the hump. however thats just an assumption. it could be trickier since the hump only has one piece of straight to land whereas in TU most of the time itll be like at least 2 straights.so...given if were playing at the current speed in TU..might be hard lah. by the way the winner clock about 20++ secs, wondering how fast he was going... |

they were running different directions for different categories. interesting eh..however ms pro was going the direction that goes thru the long straight first.
we should try the speed boost pad hehehe. |

QUOTE(LanEVOchris @ Apr 27 2010, 08:25 AM) the most enjoice part. the 8 straights and then lane change. anybody got any theories on how to pass this? pls share the lane change was a big problem for most of the MS PRO players according to a fellow sg.racer. 8 straights is really fast isnt it. however, looking at other parts of the track ur car is probably set up in a way that it has brakes and dampers. should be ok i suppose. but if u imagine your speed car going through that lane change w/o brakes, different story lah. lolhalol> so much for speed booster.. hahaha. |

QUOTE(-=conselfa=- @ Apr 27 2010, 07:13 PM) as i know, they didn't follow tamiya japan mini 4wd official rule as we practiced in m'sia (especially at TU).. wellcan someone explain, why eh? thanks.. 1. good for business....if ppl can use unlimited rollers, have to buy more what 2. strict rules generally puts people off the hobby |

ok i understand the need for rules...but the rules in sg is still not up to our standard (which is inline with japan), why do you think it is so?

tamiya underground has definitely revolutionized mini4wd in malaysia to depart from the old ways to benefit the racers more. |

the angle is for down thrust from the rollers.
purpose is to keep the car on the track, and to avoid it flying out especially around corners and L/C +1,+2,+3 angle = more stability but sacrifices speed normal angle (stock angle from chassis) = faster cornering, but less stable zero angle = dont even think about it.. its useless no matter how u argue. for me, i dont like the angle adjuster plates (HG wan) coz when pasang, the thing can go out of place when bang the wall etc. if wan more angle, better off using the plastic angle adjuster set, coz more secure+cheaper. @conselfa aku rasa nak try masking pakai liquid mask...aku tgk forum r/c diorang buat pattern camo pakai tu senang katanya Added on April 28, 2010, 10:08 pmboring doh....tak pasal pasal rasa nak menyifu pulak This post has been edited by choycp: Apr 28 2010, 10:08 PM |
