harini MS aku bumper belakang nak patah siot...fmx dalam gambar tu pun lepas tukar chassis...tadi datang TU dia fmxx. pastu terlepas, langgar pintu kaca TU.

a motor which is properly run in can be super too.

Added on April 7, 2010, 11:21 pmthe cover nightrage seem to be compatible with the car. kecik tried putting on brocken g cover but tak berjaya. fmx i think its like super x but with characteristics of FM(more weight infront). quite fast oso....can play with MS no problem. the chassis flex of the super x seems to absorb the impact from the jumps like super x lah. but the rigidity of the chassis like crap la. the nose of the fmx senang patah. just now change chassis on the spot. came with fmxx, went back with fmx.

the track now i think can clear without dampers easily too. very very high speed. i was shocked la to see the car go when i first put it on the track.

IMHO, since u took the risk to push the car to the limits...i think ure also prepared to bear the consequences lah. if not just play stock motor and stay on the safe side i guess.

MS PRO pergi auto pay ada chance of survival. tapi old chassis jangan harap la. kalau orang pijak bengkok tadahal la bang. jangan kereta bersepah pastu hilang ball bearing terutama kawan kawan yang pakai AO620, itu pening. hahaha

kitorang modified sikit chassis supaya boleh letak battery terbalik. so motor pun gerak terbalik.
so far kitorang dah barai kan 2 super xx dan 2 super x untuk projek FMX. tapi barai bukan sebab potong potong modified....sebab keluar track pergi autopay

Sedikit sebanyak tentang FMX kami.

ha macam ni je terbalik kan bateri.

hah sambungkan bumper n-02 kat sini

boleh juga kalau nak modified sikit gear oren dengan prop shaft tu. skim sikit supaya dia bergerak dengan lancar

ta da! setup roller boleh ikut citarasa sendiri

is that the car u set the fastest time on one of the semi speed track last year??

no lah...usually i simply take kain buruk to polish. just keep going on until the metal shine. sure at one point the metal got like black stains, but just keep going on until the metal got shine lah..

today the hanging dampers dominated the track.

aku suggest ko stick dengan TU je cari barang. most of the time the parts they stock up is more than enough to build a competition ready car.
plus since we are going to race at TU anyway, i think its good practice to pledge our loyalty to them with regards to our mini4wd purchases wherever possible. to show support lah

if u want to dip the motor in oil, do it lah. i suppose thats just to keep the inner parts of the motor from corrosion. i do it sometimes too by injecting oil thru the holes at the motor. well i do that if im not using the motor lah. same concept goes to ball bearings. oil it to keep it. those posts on motor care i assume is for R/C motors which are larger and more expensive. small cheap motor like hyperdash usually pakai buang je.

if u use the motor regularly, the carbon brushes does not last forever. when the brushes start to wear and tear, so does the performance of the motor. pretty much just common sense there. for me, i try my best to replace my motor at least once a month depending on my budget etc.

running in the motor is required to get maximum performance out of motors with carbon brushes. rationale is to set the brushes nicely on the commutators.
theres like a million ways to run in. so i leave it to u to choose which is best. i remembered when i started to ask similar questions back then. the sifus only said "run in motor ikut citarasa sendiri" (masa tu memang rasa cam sial but i learned alot lah)

but whatever it is, getting the best performance out of an unopened motor IS possible. however, always remember that the speed of your car does not depend entirely on the motor but also alot of other factors like the car itself.

last but not least....NO MONEY NO SPEED. sebab itu la aku tak suka main speed track
