QUOTE(satanhead2003 @ Jun 27 2006, 09:14 AM) Hv u tried running superpi 32M? try changing sp2004 setting to priority 9 n run large fft. Ur setting for the sp2004 more to stressing the cpu. 8-512k in place > stressin cpuMin : 8 max :512 Mem : 128 Min : 8 max : 4096 mem : 8 Mine always fail at 32 40k FFT. 8-4096 not in place > stressin ram requirement for takin part in uptime challenge by sifu charge-n-go... i can do nothin w/ my pc if i were to set priority 9... QUOTE How to run 2x Prime95 in one shot?: - copy and paste the prime95 folder. - to run CPU stress test : option -> torture test -> custom. Set min FFT to 8K, max FFT to yr L2 cache size. TICK 'run in place FFT' and set to 1 min. - to run RAM stress test : option -> torture test -> custom. Set min FFT to 8K, max FFT to 4096K. RAMsize = 1/10th of yr system RAM, UN-TICK 'run in place FFT' and set to 1 min. This post has been edited by ah_khoo: Jun 27 2006, 10:27 AM |

QUOTE(K3N @ Jun 9 2007, 08:32 PM) guys...i have a dfi nf4 ultra d with me... regarding the cpu startup vid and cpu vid control...both will have to be set to the same value is it? is it ok if the starup one is set to auto and the second one to the desired amount? startup will be taken as d value if cpu vid set to auto, if both startup & cpu vid are set, cpu vid will be d vcore. |

QUOTE(K3N @ Jun 10 2007, 01:15 PM) oh.. so if i set the startup to auto and vid control to my deisred one (under OC setting), will i have the problem whereby my pc wont boot since the OC setting will only run on my desired voltage? yup, wat chip ur runnin currently? i alwez play with ram 1st, then only test d highest clock. undoubtedly nf4 lp series are d best oc boards for 939 platform, it's up to u how u make use of it. |

QUOTE(K3N @ Jun 11 2007, 11:07 AM) its venice... okay... i still got loads of things to learn about DFI mobo... it depends on wat kinda ram u have, d value differs from chips to chips... Added on June 12, 2007, 8:20 pma question about the ram timing setting: wat value do you guys normally set for tRC? according to the AMD overclocking guide from DIY street, tRC=tRAS+tRP This post has been edited by ah_khoo: Jun 14 2007, 04:05 PM |
