SLi mod shud be easier as only one point need to be bridge, i need to bridge 3 points as sata2 mod need 2 + 1 of SLi. biggrin.gif

vdimm > +0.04v of bios set value

I got problem with my mobo. Situation like this:-

-Before this i'm using Opty 144 with stock HSF and idle around 38c (i heard got another forumer got around 31c-34c. After i'm changing my stock HSF to Scythe Ninja, the temp still same. Just only different when load, stock 55-59c : Ninja 50-53c. I'm also have tried to put outside casing and the temp is still problem. Idle 38c. Isn't because my sensor problem?

-Another problem is my ram cannot go another divider. Just can boot to Windows at divider 1/2 100mhz. More than that, it will restart again until i changing divider to 1/2. Using with Kingston HyperX KHX3200AK2/1GB chipset CH-5.

Bought this mobo Dec last year and my mobo is DFI Lanparty SLi-D.
*
Change of RP & MA almost a must while playin w/ divider... smile.gif

y bother bout d idle temp, wats matters is d load temp. 53'C is quite ok ledi, can't complaint much especially when u pump more than 1.5V into ya opty... wink.gif

using xp-90c, vantec 92mm tornado@2700rpm.
the temperature showed is only 38~39

what i suggest is please check ur heatpipe.
ah_khoo, i suggested u to check ur XP120 heatpipe too...
lastime forgot bout it.
sumtimes heatpipe malfunction may cause this problems.
*
for my ex (xp120), i believe it was the problem w/ d bracket. the heatsink seemed didn't able to make full contact w/ d IHS, dats y the temp was so high, but come to think of it, i was play w/ 1.45V vcore (or above) all the time, so my assumption mite be wrong... laugh.gif

now i only play w/ 1.44V max, w/ my f64, temp highest is 48'C. smile.gif

bro, xp90c w/ DELTA vs f64? some more all my case fans are in low speed (1.2K RPM > cm bling2 led fan), i'm allergic to noise, unlike u & Westley... tongue.gif

no mate, am usin patriot tccd... smile.gif

QUOTE(gsan @ Jun 16 2006, 07:12 PM)
try either 2.5-3-4-7 or 2.5-4-3-7.

i've tested a pair of ram, when doing 2.5-4-3-7 will give ton of errors in memtest but 2.5-3-4-7 give no errors in both memtest and sp2004.
*
bro, in order to get it memtest stable (test #5), d ram need to be @ 2.5-3-3-7, i've tried 2.5-4-3-7, 2.5-3-4-7 or 2.5-4-4-8, all these 3 settings givin me instant error in test #5, i started to doubt that it's d problem of d board or my 0516 kinda sucky. too bad i'm in sgp now, else i'll let u test these sweet baby... sad.gif

just noticed your setting, Idle Cycle Limit suppose set to 256 for tccd. btw, you have to try play with the setting since you set "auto" in certain significant setting.

QUOTE(winc87 @ Jun 16 2006, 09:59 PM)
gsan is correct, manually set your timings. Some are the important factors to achieve stable like Trfc, Drive STrength, Tref, Data Strength, Skew.....
*
thanks for the input bros... smile.gif

finally...

it took me the 2 to 3 days to figure it out how to get it prime stable... sweat.gif

too bad my chip need high voltage to get primable @ 9*300... sumore my coolin is none of those performance type... sad.gif

so which setting is the key point to prime stable?  smile.gif

those colored in red are d values that i altered. another thing is vdimm, tccd is kinda picky when it comes to d amount of juice we pump, no a 'lil bit more or less, must be exact... tongue.gif

Have you tried 4708 for the tref? It seems the best for chage-n-go's TCCD, but you have to change drive strength and data strength too. smile.gif
*
yup, 3120 & 4708 are the best setting for tccd (in my case), any others will give tonnes of errors... rclxub.gif

at the moment 3120 is d best, might try 4708 again when i hit d wall w/ current setting. wink.gif

i really hate tryin drive strength & data strength, especially in 0406 bios, 4 level data strength for each level of drive strength... sweat.gif

lol i understand how you feel. I tweaked my system for a month when i got my expert. The higher level of data strength usually leads to instability faster. So i suggest you try from level 1 to level 4. THis should saves you some time. Drive STrength.....Level 1(weak) is the weakest, Level 7(weak) is the closest to Normal, so i suggest you try from level 1. smile.gif
*
surprisinly i always have luck on tccd, i took 2weeks plus played w/ my ex gskill fc & 1 week plus (my target) for this patriot tccd. smile.gif

but for the ocz premier series (psc chippy if i'm not mistaken) & team's utt bh-5 took me atleast a month... sumore d result not so encouragin... sad.gif

thanks for d tips bro... thumbup.gif
