pray hard it can be unlocked but i'm not puttin high hope thou. i'll be dead happy if 3.6GHz (tricore) doable @ < 1.4v. an extra core would be a huge bonus, if it doesn't unlock it's not end of d world. i'm already quit so number is nothing to me now...

AMD Working on Black Edition Phenom II X6 Part
AMD's lineup of six-core desktop processors under the Phenom II X6 banner indeed includes a high-end part. A Bahrain-based etailer disclosed prices of some of the models, which includes a Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition. This chip operates at 3.20 GHz, with a TDP of 125W. Being a Black Edition part, it sports an unlocked BClk multipler that helps overclocking. AMD plans to sell this chip at US $295. The Phenom II X5 1055T is the other part with a price-tag. This 2.80 GHz chip also has its TDP at 125W, although we've lead to believe that AMD will release a 95W variant, too. The 1055T goes for US $199. Both chips are based on the "Thuban" core, which feature six cores on a monolithic die, with 9 MB of total chip cache (512 KB L2 per core, and 6 MB L3 shared).

w/ 4th core enabled can make it to d windows @ stock clock, but error here & there... stable unlock my foot...

cpu cooler, hyper 212+ is good for budget, no comment for high end as we (AMD users) don't really need that, unlike blue camp users w/ toaster chips...

linx doesnt stress all the time.every time it finished counting the memory then it'll idle and then continue again.not stressful for the whole hour like p95.

but stability is subjective but if it pass 20 run with max available memory i ran p95 small fft aftwerwards just to see if it can pass it.
