i think the price went up already since the last time i order (they told me that) and i ordered like 8 months ago

where did you go for your quotation? roadshow or at unigate showroom? maybe roadshow can get better price

From showroom. I think I should wait for exhibition, according to them, they would have exhibition on March, noticed there's Renovation 2011 on around 4th week of May in Mid Valley.

unigate comes with the gate, isn't it? Ie, if I want to use unigate, I have to change my whole gate, right?

hi guys.

i went to thier IOI showroom last sunday. now the price is around rm1k ++ per foot run. so if your gate is 10 feet wide then the price will be around rm10k ++. they quote me rm 16k ++ for my 15 feet gate. the price is inclusive of material and installation. for the stainless steel one the price is a bit higher than the aluminium but i forgot the figure. i hope this can help. tqvm.

Yes, their gate is not cheap at all. They are quoting me 25K for a 18 feet stainless steel gate. Very expensive.

hi,
i recently asked them the price, they quoted me 22800 for 20 feet length, 5 feet 4 inches height for premium collection design after 15% discount (not during exhibition), and just give me till end of next week for that promotion. they say they'll open booth during exhibition end of august in pwtc, but cannot promise how much the promotion, probably only 10% discount which is lesser than current price. what do u all say? icon_question.gif rclxub.gif

Do we need to pay for additional payment for cable laying ?
I was told by the contractor that cost is excluded from the price I pay for the gate.
Contractor need to hack the floor lay the cable.

I really wont trust unigate, using advertising&road show to cheating purchaser. I using unigate stainless steel, pilar side 4pcs bearing rusty remove the black cover u can see what material delux give to us .
Another one stainless steel frame welding 45 degree join after polishing the area already deep in look very ugly & gear box very noisy I really disappointed unigate. Showroom sample welding&polishing area look nice compare with delivery to us totally different I won't recommend ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

coventional is better. trackless sounds nice and all but problems will crop up with alignment, tho maybe also due to my gate being larger than their norm (acccording to the maintenance guys)

hi,

I know this is an old thread. I'm looking for a new gate and a trackless folding gate sounds good. I just want to hear from those who installed it a few years back and whether it is as good as the seller claims. Any problems? Thanks.

Yes I would like to know too. In the market for a new gate. Now itโ€™s over 1k per ft. Very expensive, want to know if itโ€™s worth the price. Tq!
