My colleague was thinking of getting the HTC legend, simply because he likes the design better. The design was one of the big selling point, The build quality is amazing. The unibody aluminium feels so good in your hands. I wanted to wait for the HTC Desire (I wouldn't buy the Nexus One because no HTC Sense and also Google support issues).
I change my phone quite regularly. So for less than RM 2k for this Legend. it';s a no brainer. I am still looking to play with the HTC Desire. I will always look for local set with local SIS warranty for better resale value (again because I change my phone so often). Doesn't matter if I root my phone or not.
But the Legend is small enough to fit nicely on my hands and the red is really stunning. No regrets!

How to claim warranty if u buy Nexus one? is there any warranty covered in Malaysia? this could be a very strong point adding to the factor of buying HTC legend.
As far as I know, Google's Nexus One needs to be submitted online for fault reporting. Since there's no distributor or retail store.
However, in US, if you buy it under a contract with the mobile operator, you can send it back to the operator, I think.
But for Malaysia, I believe if the retail shop you buy the phone from can give you some sort of warranty, that would be the best you can get. Correct me if I'm wrong.
