Hi guys, need some advice here.
I play FPS games (mainly sudden attack). I am a sniper but I do frequently change to rifling. My sensitivity is probably medium in general, so I don't really need a high sensitivity, but rather precision.
I plan to get a bungee+mouse+mousepad combo, all from ROCCAT. I have NOT used or tested, not even seen a ROCCAT product in action before, so I don't know how they perform.
The Apuri, is something I'll 100% I'll get.
For the mouse, I'm in a dilemma of having to choose between the Kone+ or the cheaper Kova. The Kone/+ is eye candy, and the EasyShift is something that could prove really useful for snipers (dpi lower/higher). However, it's bloody expensive :| On the other hand, the Kova meets just about everything I need. It's driverless-ness is also a plus factor

I don't really
need macro buttons on a mouse, a simple one like the Kova is good enough, but I read on various reviews that it has compatibility issues with Windows 7. Then again, the reviews said that it works completely fine for some, and for the less fortunate ones, it stops working after a minute or so. So.. I don't know. My budget isn't really high but the Kone is very tempting.
For mousepad.. =_= well, I'm just going to quote one of my posts here :

Hi guys, I've been wondering about this for some time now :
Assuming I had a laser gaming mouse, a SteelSeries Ikari.
The most important thing after getting such an expensive mouse is the type of surface I'll be playing on.
I'll use 2 ROCCAT products as examples here : Sota and Sense mousepads.
The Sota is RM89, and the Sense is RM69.
Out of both, I'd pick the Sense, which is cheaper.
But that's not the main point.
What I'm wondering is why the Sota, with a granular surface, is more expensive than the Sense. I am skeptical, you can say, about the surface type because for such a rough (granular) surface, won't it kill the feet of the mouse? As in easily wear it out?
I am currently using a SteelSeries Kinzu along with a cheapo RM10 cloth mousepad and it's been like that for 6 months - the feet of my mouse are half-worn out already -- you can see shiny spots on the feet.
I don't understand how a ROUGH (which is most probably bumpy if you zoom in with a microscope) surface actually lets a mouse glide and perform better, compared to a cloth or any other smoother material.
Anyone care to enlighten me?
Other than that, I don't see a need for a keyboard as my Sidewinder X4 is working wonders, aside from the worn out keys. My Razer Carcharias is also working fine.. just need to consider a soundcard.
OFFTOPIC : Speaking of sound cards, anyone care to suggest me the best bang for buck sound card/external interface in the market right now? Low price is priority :|
Thanks guys.
