For Roccat Kaves users , is it okay for it to be used in stereo mode? And of course i know it'll sound better with 5.1 sound.

Lol , just asking wink.gif
Anyway , is the weight of this headset really THAT unbearable? Sounds like a flaw to me which is most probably caused by the Vibrators itself.

Not to say unbearable, just discomforting especially when you compare it to other headsets.

Well it kinda depends whether you would prefer the Kave's performance over the Siberia V2's comfort and versatility.

In the long run, which one do you think is more feasible?

For long periods of gaming, the Siberia wins by a long shot. If you're the type of person that loves a lot of booming effects and great bang for buck then the Kave is the way to go. It's more to your own preference though. I personally prefer the Siberia.

yeah i just read online reviews and kave seems to take the lead in performance wise. do you any diy-ers out there who is able to self tune the kave to make it more bearable on the head for a long period? eg. install an extra headrest like the siberia's.

Well the main problem is the unit's weight. So even with the headband on the top it still will be too heavy to be comfortable. And the earcups I found are a bit too hard compared with the Siberia's leatherette cups.

Other than your preference, i think you should considering about what you expected from it, the usual usage.

If you use more movies, song why not go for other hifi headset brand or audiophile.

If you want more directional 5.1 effect and performance, then go ahead for Kave, you will never regret.

In comfort wise, weight of Kave and it ear cup is really depressed me.

Portable platform... you'll might never fully make use of the Kave's 5.1 surround sound with the amount of jacks you need to plug in.
