Just got the Kova today. I have a few questions.
1. If i lose the receipt, or without the receipt is it still possible to reclaim warranty from the distributor?
2. Has anyone's kova failed before? How did it fail?
A little story on how i got my mouse:
I tried searching for the Kova at Lowyat (Viewnet/AllIT/SriCom) but there were none. So i went over to Times Square as a last resort and i managed to find two units for sale at the one of the shops on the 2nd level of the IT centre. I can't remember what was the name of the shop.
They were selling the Kova for RM 229 and i told them that the Kova is only for RM 199 on lowyat forums. The shop keeper did not hesitate to sell it at RM 200 so i bought it immediately. He told me "this one no receipt" so i asked him what about the warranty and he replied "if anything just come back here and i will send it back".
I went back to Borders to meet my father and i told him about the no receipt thing and my father insisted there should be a receipt so we went back to that shop. The shop keeper quickly wrote a receipt for me and we went off.
At the moment, i have no complains about the mouse but i am worried about the warranty.
Their address: Lot 05-08 IT Center (T2-20) 2nd Floor Berjaya Times Square No.1 Jln Imbi 55100 KL
JLK PC CENTER
If you're sending it directly to the distributor, I don't think there's a need for the receipt. I believe the receipt is required by the shop as to confirm that they're the one that sold you the item, because they're gonna have to pay the fees for sending back to the distributor, if I'm not mistaken.

Hey Jeffrey , may I know where you got your Pyra?
I do recall him saying that he bought it from eBay or Amazon.com.
