they not use expedite shipping for you???
if yes shouldnt be any problem ma
*
Now the problem is since standard and expedite shipping don't have tracking number, the postman here can do anything on your parcel. I had went to post office here few times, and their always said since there is no tracking number, it is very very hard for them to find it or sometimes blame KL said their usually ship those parcel very late to Kuching. sweat.gif Now I afraid some postman's hand is not "clean".

Occasionally KL post office will hold up those parcels before releasing to Kuching. I have experienced before that they hold for 7 days before clearance when I ordered my dvd from ebay.

For my case, I told far longer than 1 week.

Actually I prefer Emmanuelle over 9 Songs. laugh.gif Emmanuelle , I think similar to The story of O.

www.blu-ray.com recently just reviewed UK version of Emmanuelle. You can take a look if you interested. Previosly, their also had reviewed The story of O.

Sorry what is the "impact" if encoded in 1080i at 50Hz?

US version of Life is in 1080p?
*
For me, I think it is fine with me, but having said that 1080i always having problem handling fast moving objects. Whereas 50Hz, I think there is totally not "impact".

US version, so far, I haven't found out whether it is encoded in 1080p or not. hmm.gif

I justed watched "Revolutionary Road" starring by Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and interesting to know that the director is Kate Winslet's husband, Sam Mendes.

This is also the first film after "Titanic" both Leonardo DiCaprio team up with Kate Winslet. I give 4 out of 5 for both PQ and AQ. This is family drama so don't expect any action or boom boom pow scene. tongue.gif

Sadly, the ending is sad ending for this movie. For those love the family drama, I will recomand this movie to them. I recomand to purchase from Amazon UK rather than Amazon US since it is cheaper in UK and UK version also can play in region A (tested) player. If fact, the UK version, I think, is for Europe cause it give you option to choice for many language or subtitle at the beginning scene.

Added on March 16, 2010, 11:50 amJust read the news that Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes have split after six years of marriage. "Side effect" of staring in Revolutionary Road as a desperate housewife??? laugh.gif

By the way, Kate Winslet also won the Best Actress at the Golden Globes in 2009 for her roles in 'Revolutionary Road'.

You're welcome. By the way, it depends , certain blu-ray fans dont like nippled ones (those from UK) , most of the people prefer US version i pressume.

As long as you enjoy the High Def, those factors does not matter at all..
*
To be exact, actually all Europe version of BDs all got nippled but in different shape and colour. laugh.gif

My pick of the day for a dropped price title.

Eyes Wide Shut, starring Nicole Kidman brows.gif and Tom Cruise.

The movie was shot during they were together. I guess they separated after this film or so..

Good deal of the day USD9.99 . Just watch Nicole & Tom bare naked and obscene..

When you watch blu-ray version of Eyes Wide Shut, you will noted some scenes are more sexually explicit than previous origianl DVD version since there is lot of optically censored for original DVD version. brows.gif

Here is explanation from one editor about censored scenes:
QUOTE
To avoid an NC-17 rating, the orgy scene was partially censored in the R1 release with the placement of computer-generated objects and characters in front of the more sexually explicit details. These scenes display poor black tones, probably due to digital processing - www.dvdbeaver.com

Also, please note:
QUOTE
What purchasers should be aware of is that this transfer reflects the original grainy intent of Kubrick. It was meant to look as it does although some may deem this as being poor quality - in fact it is resembling the theatrical intent quite adeptly. - www.dvdbeaver.com

The other day I watched Eyes Wide Shut.... I really don't get it, the whole film... but I don't see the grainy part, so did the explicit scenes! In fact I don't really see Tom & Nicole...
Oh, I watched it while my eyes wide shut...
*
The explicit scenes is related to actors and actresses other than Tom & Nicole whistling.gif . If you want to check those "scenes", go to visit www.dvdbeaver.com ,there is 3 reviews talking about this movie and those "scenes" user posted image .

By the way hmm.gif , when Amazon said return a item to them using "an economical air mail method", did their mean using DHL also okay?

Anyone had returned BD to Amazon US before icon_question.gif ? Amazon's mean of "an economical air mail method" is that include courier using DHL? I just checked with DHL, for parcel going to US, if less than 500g, the charge is RM165 which I don't know whether it is under their defination of "economical" or not?

According to low98944, HK version has DTS-Master 7.1 & US version is only DTS-Master 5.1? Thats mean HK version is better mixed huh? No matter what, I think this movie AQ should be awesome with tonnes of bows flying around your room!
*
DTS-Master 5.1 is for UK version. US version, I am not sure cause don't have info. My own copy is Hong Kong Version. nod.gif

How much you bought from HK? Give us review on its DTS-Master 7.1 mixing will you?  tongue.gif

I brought it for US$30.32 each (total US$60.64) which is far more expensive than current US and UK version. But mine order for this 2 BDs is free shipping.

I did not test 7.1 mixing cause don't have 7.1 system in my house. tongue.gif
