If your delivery address is in East Malaysia instead of West Malaysia, then, you will probably need to wait for more than 10 days. Unless you are very lucky or you used Priority Courier Shipping.

Info. from the digital bits regarding corrected SPR:

QUOTE
Editor's Note: I've confirmed with Paramount that the corrected Blu-ray discs will have a YELLOW UPC code/symbol on the back. That's how you'll know you're getting the fixed Blu-ray.

I am quite surprise by Criterion Collection sweat.gif

Their will release Criterion Collection for Seven Samurai (Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray] for $34.99 and Antichrist (Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray] for $27.99. shocking.gif

Seven Samurai is less surprise but Antichrist whistling.gif is really surprise me.

Both of them still don't have exact release date yet.

Hello,

We’re writing about your recent order for "Saving Private Ryan: Sapphire Series [Blu-ray]." The manufacturer recently recalled this Blu-ray disc due to a production error that intermittently affects the synchronization of the picture and audio. They’ve fixed the issue and will be sending us unaffected copies as soon as possible.

If you find your copy has this defect, please visit our Online Returns Center to print a return mailing label.
http://www.amazon.com/returns

Be sure to choose "Defective/Does not work properly" as your return option. You won’t be charged for return shipping.

We’re very sorry about this. To help make up for having to return the item to us, we’ve applied a $5 promotional certificate to Your Account to help with the cost of purchasing the new unaffected copy of the movie. To place your new order, go to the URL below and add the item to your shopping cart, then proceed to checkout:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003LL3N1I

Note: If you order with the 1-click order button, the promotional certificate won't be applied to your order.

We hope to see you again soon.

Sincerely,

Don't you think they gonna keep track of you account if you are not gonna return the disc?
I thought you should return in the 1st place?
*
For 1 disc, usually Amazon will ask you to keep it. But if their really ask you to return, you have to return otherwise their will charge you for that.

Oh, no wonder they emailed and informed to donate did they? Well, if Amazon request to return even that 1 disc , we are still required to return to them? Or you get to keep it? Unless Amazon dont bother about the defect disc?
*
Is not that Amazon don't bother about defect disc I think, after all their can return to supplier, it is because Amazon need to bear the cost of send back which sometime make it not wise for their to do so. We are in Malaysia, not US, thus cost of getting back of defect product is higher compared to US buyers.

Their usual replied:

Amazon US replied:

There's no need to return the defective DVD you received. You're welcome to keep, donate or dispose of it--whichever option is most appropriate and convenient for you. - This replied is long time ago.

Amazon UK replied:

When sending a replacement for an damaged items, we usually request that you return the original item to Amazon.co.uk within 30 days of the date on which Amazon.co.uk confirms we will issue a replacement. However, as the cost of returning the package is in this case prohibitively expensive, we ask that you keep the original item with our compliments. Perhaps you would like to donate it to a charity in your area if you feel it would be appropriate to do so. There will of course be no additional charge for the replacement order.
