May of next year, we will be able to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. But so far only Johnny Depp agreed to star in this film, before "there was a script or anything". whistling.gif

Dispatched on 20 Dec 2009, dilepaskan ketam on 29 Dec 2009 and received today 10 March 2010. What The H*ll it took the Pos 2 months and 12 days before the parcel to reach me?  mad.gif  mad.gif  mad.gif

Amazoos UK send me a replacement parcel with 1 title less and it's more than a month and still haven't reach me. What should I do if the replacement reach me later?  rclxub.gif

You are lucky compared to me. cry.gif

Based on my records, my longest wait is parcel from Amazon US.

1. I placed order November 23, 2009 (Yes, during Black Friday's sales) and dispatched November 24, 2009;

2. Amazon later informed me, this parcel had returned to Amazon US due to "undeliverable" shocking.gif whistling.gif ;

3. Order created by Amazon US again on December 31, 2009 and shipped at same day;

4. Today, I demand a replacement order due to not yet received after waiting for so long yawn.gif ;

5. A replacement is just created not long ago and is about to dispatch.

Let wait and see what happen next. whistling.gif

is it most of the blu-ray movie don't have english subtitle ??
*
For majority of US blu-ray, yes, there don't have "pure" english subtitle but most of those discs got English for hearing impaired or something like that subtitle. tongue.gif

Maybe those BD release in US and since most of the US residents know how to listen to English, so make "pure" English subtitle a waste of resources. hmm.gif

Those who are waiting for US edition of "Life", the US edition of Life will available on June 1, 2010. But it is narration by Oprah Winfrey instead of Sir David Attenborough. wink.gif

user posted image

If you want narration by Sir David Attenborough, UK edition of region free "Life" is your best choice.

user posted image

However, take note that UK edition is encoded in 1080i at 50 Hz.

P/S: Based on the comments, lot of Amaricans hate narration by Oprah Winfrey sweat.gif . Don't know why. Maybe her narration is not good enough??? hmm.gif

US edition's current pre-order price is $48.99 whereas UK edition is £30.00. laugh.gif

When is Avatar BD release in US? I presume it's region lock for this one..considering it's from Century Fox.

If you also looking for Avatar 3D blu-ray, here is some news about it:

QUOTE
Samsung and Panasonic Fighting over Avatar 3D Blu-ray Bundle

According to Australian tech site SmartHouse, Samsung and Panasonic may be fighting over the rights to bundle a 3D version of James Cameron's Avatar with the 3D-compatible HDTVs from their respective brands in the second half of 2010. Initially, Panasonic was the clear favorite. However, now Samsung is reportedly offering "serious money" in a bid for the rights to bundle the sci-fi blockbuster.

Avatar producer Jon Landau had spoken at the Panasonic press conferences at the IFA and CES fairs, and clips from the movie had been used by the Japanese CE maker to showcase its 3D tech. Panasonic had also helped in the production of Avatar.

However, Samsung scored a publicity coup Wednesday when Cameron attended the Korean corporation's 3D launch event in New York. The filmmaker took the stage after a brief concert by the Black Eyed Peas, which was filmed with 3D cameras and that footage (along with the rest of the band's tour) will be available in 3D Blu-ray... exclusively for Samsung customers. Cameron noted that the concert had been filmed with the same cameras he'd used for Avatar and added that Samsung had been "such a visionary leader in getting to market first with these sets."

It is our obligation to remind everyone that, despite all of the above, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment still hasn't publicly changed its official stance that "3D is in the conceptual stage and Avatar will not be out on 3D Blu-ray in November."

I always choose option 1, cheapskate ma... hehe. I'll only opt for option 2 if I have a "pre-order" title among normal ones but I don't fancy pre-order, so... there you go  smile.gif
*
For me, if I order in Amazon US, I usually combine pre-order or out-of-stock BD with those BD got available stock. By doing that Amazon US usually will ship those BD with available stock first without any additional charge brows.gif provided the pre-order or out-of-stock BD is at least few weeks before their can ship to you. laugh.gif

Amazon UK is a bit difficult to ship in separate parcel if order contain pre-order or out-of-stock BD with those BD that got stock. So far, only 1 order happened like that which only took place in today. tongue.gif

Added on March 12, 2010, 9:00 pmI think today lightning deal for DVD and Blu-ray are both Firefly series. laugh.gif

I just realized that the X-Men Trilogy I ordered in late November 2009 (received in December 2009) got some problem. cry.gif

The disc 1 of X-Men: The Last Stand is actually disc 1 of X2: X-Men United. This mean I got 2 disc 1 of X2: X-Men United. doh.gif I just realized 10 mins ago when I first time playing this disc. cry.gif

I already watched X-Men and X2: X-Men United 1 to 2 months ago but I left X-Men: The Last Stand untouched until today.

Just write email to Amazon US to check whether can exchange or not for that particular disc... sweat.gif
