To my surprise, I received my Ice-Age Trilogy that I order in Deal of the Day in Amazon US which dispatched on 18/04/2010 together with Apollo 13. thumbup.gif Actually that parcel reached Kuching at 27/04/2010. Wow! shocking.gif less than 10 days. It have been ages, since don't know when that I never received my parcel soooo early. thumbup.gif

But why Ice Age Trilogy did not have a cover for all three blu-ray discs like Godfather, Matrix Trilogy, etc. It seem like I order three individual BDs and all three movie in it own case. doh.gif

boxset always have different casing....
you dont like have more casing?  hmm.gif

I like. What I mean is, usually for boxset, there is usually got 1 big cover so you can put all 3 blu-ray case into the big cover. But Ice Age trilogy don't have that big cover. And look at the picture upload by Amazon also never shown this trilogy go big cover. sweat.gif

I just claimed refund from them recently which their really no need to refund me tongue.gif . So, let go for this case, since what dirtrun is probably right. It is Amazon's own marketing.

By the way, mpyw, I had received my copy of Dances with wolves. Thanks. thumbup.gif

Now I have 99.99% confidence that Ice Age Triple Pack is Amazon's own marketing plan just like what dirtrun said. Cover is exactly same as individual titles except slightly different for Ice Age. For Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, it is exactly same cover art and also include Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy thumbup.gif

Hi,  my estimated delivery date from amazon uk was April 29, 2010 but haven't got yet and is it because of Iceland Volcanic eruption in europe ??
*
Try to wait for 1 more week before writing to Amazon UK. If you write to them now, their will still ask you to wait for a while before their send you replacement copy.

Most of the time, delay is due to our postman or customs officer or both. blush.gif

hmm.gif Strange. Amazon UK usually will not ask to wait for so long. Only Amazon US will ask for around additional 1 month. hmm.gif

writing early mean have faster date for them to resending again  whistling.gif

That I don't think so. I believe they have already set a formula to calculate for each particular parcel.

UK usually need to wait for 1 to 2 weeks whereas US is around 1 month. tongue.gif

i thought base on ur complain date + 1/2week or 1month time?  hmm.gif
*
No necessary. If you ask 1 week after estimated delivery date, their normally will ask to wait for few more days before dispatch replacement. Last time, someone, forget who already, had said he will wait for 2 months, if not mistaken, Amazon US will dispatch replacement upon receiving your complain. laugh.gif

Maybe the formula for waiting time is = Days between dispatch date and estimated delivery date hmm.gif This mean if Amazon said it estimated will take 1 month to reach you. If you did not receive it in 2 months after dispatch date, their will dispatch replacement copy. I think is around that la. Never really calculate. tongue.gif

Sorry...first time buying Bluray...wanted to test it on my new player....well. there is a first time for everything  blush.gif

I bought a Bluray name "Coraline 3D" from robinlim...nice guy...fast delivery...but what I received so far the box never say got 3D one...did I buy the right thing?
I'm sure most of you know this movies as a search reveal most of you have it.

[attachmentid=1561755]

Are the 3D glasses in inside the package?....I went googling around and seems like there is another type which has a outer sleeve that says 3D.

Are there two versions of Coraline?...one is 2D only and another one has both 2D and 3D versions?

Dare not open it yet cause waiting for replies....I hope I bought the right stuff.

Thanks in advance  icon_rolleyes.gif

This BD got both 2D and 3D. 3D technology for this movie is old one. Using different colour to create 3D effect. There is 4 set of 3D "paper" glassess inside. tongue.gif

Anaglyph 3D is the correct term. tongue.gif
