lol.
perhaps it'd have been easier as wat u said and having housemates like u.
I will just get a motor if I really stay in TTS 2.
Haha,just see how it goes.

I follow my coursemate. My housemate goes to Uni a bit too early. Don't ask why.

@eXPeri3nc3:That would be another solution too.Hmm,maybe my friends and I can work that out.

@Permafrost:You should direct to your own faculty, then you will know the answer. As per your information,a first year student doesn't know much.

If you have a car, anywhere is also feasible.

TTS5 is the hottest place for rooms. You gotta be real early, real lucky, or willing to pay more to get a place there.

I need a room for a couple of months only. Hopefully can get hostel at the end of may when people graduate/leave. Apparently there will be 400 beds(?) available. Just receive the email today(WTH?). Less than 2 weeks to find for accommodation. You stay in TTS2? How far is it from the uni? How long if you walk?

If I walk fast I can reach uni by 10 minutes, drenched in sweat and bloody sore legs.

Normal walking distance from TTS2 is around 15mins to reach to the guardhouse near TTS5.

I'm looking for a room too. Can help you check around if you want. Which housing estate do you prefer? the nearer ones or you dont mind the further ones?

@ex3peri3nc3
Thanks.

Oh, to clarify, I meant the guardhouse at the TTS5 bridge to Uni, not the one at the EduSquare. I'm too lazy to look for the map and show you guys as I'm rushing my assignment.

Anyhow, if you want my room after I graduate (TTS2), do let me know. Lol.

Regarding the cold at night, to the contrary, it's bloody hot.

Unless you're staying on the third floor or something.

If you are new to the university, or have yet to stay in the hostel ever, and are interested in staying on-campus, one should apply to Pioneer or PK. For what I know, all existing residents will be chased out except Jan intake and foundation students (and Taught Master students as well I think). So, there will be a lot of beds available for newbie. Just apply, and trust me! I have inside info but I don't want to disclose too much.

I am a mechanical engineering year 1 student. I am planning to do industrial training this coming break. My question here is, is the internship recognized by BEM for 1st year student?
*
Did ask Yousif about this?
For what I know, as long as you did 12-weeks, and complete a report of n pages, and also fulfilling other requirements, your internship will be valid.
Ask Yousif for the best confirmation.

Actually, like what jinjack said, just apply. The reason if they give you saying that they have no more slot/place is utter bullcrap.

They reserve it for foreign students that's why. But in the end it ends up un-utilized most of the time.

I got that email too. It's good news. I called them up and they say they would provide shuttle service from Taman Tasik Semenyih to the uni campus. I guess we wont need to look for it ourselves anymore.
