The Logitech Harmony 525 is good value for under RM300, controls all your devices (even my new BYond decoder). And I am controlling the decoder from upstairs using a remote extender.

Logitech 525 link

No need, the Logitech site has the exact Pace model in its library. You can just configure online.

I am using it it since 2008.
No problem and very simple to use apart from the macro (which I dont use except the universal turn on/shut down features)
I can bring in for you at less than RM500 (the shipping fee of 3lbs really bring up the cost) if you really want....

Got mine in All IT. But it's not exactly the same, the Harmony 525 does not have the RF feature.

i'm quite interested to purchase this uni remote commander but needed some clarification. i know the harmony supports a large component library and when i checked it supported all my components eg tv,bluray, media player, byond, receiver, etc. however for buttons that don't have in the harmony such as eject, subtitles, audio, etc. couple of buttons in the byond remote, how do u control those functions with the harmony? hmm.gif

You use the configurable user-defined butttons beside the lcd screen for customised functions.

Even if the devices are not on the database already, all universal remotes have "learning" ability, so it can learn from the original remote (assuming one has the original remote).

Having said that, I've never had any device that wasn't already on the Harmony database. Even obscure set top boxes, cable tvs, etc. is not a problem. You just need to note the hardware model number printed on the back/bottom of the device and key that into the database.

Just got myself a Sony RMVL610....nice...comes with Macro functions too, multiple component controller at one touch, enough memory capacity for all the learning ever needed, only thing is no back light...controlling 2 dozen buttons in the dark taken getting use too.

Very satisfied with the quality, more better than Philips...

Never tried Logitech before, dun fancy any remote that cost more than Rm200...well maybe not yet, wait till my kids grow bigger...right now, got toddler around...you know how it goes...one drop and bye bye to the remote.

Got it from the garage sale biggrin.gif
The forummer bought it from SG.
Practically new, maybe he didn't need those advance features of the remote, I just love it..can control multiple components at one touch, almost unlimited storage space for the learned buttons, two beam IR for wider and more accurate coverage...moreover, I got a few Sony stuff that matches the remote....thanks for the recommendation SiriuslyCold notworthy.gif But I surely love to get big LCD remotes...wait till my kids grow bigger first.
