i'm quite interested to purchase this uni remote commander but needed some clarification. i know the harmony supports a large component library and when i checked it supported all my components eg tv,bluray, media player, byond, receiver, etc. however for buttons that don't have in the harmony such as eject, subtitles, audio, etc. couple of buttons in the byond remote, how do u control those functions with the harmony?
You use the configurable user-defined butttons beside the lcd screen for customised functions.Added on March 1, 2010, 6:03 pm

Hi,
I read somewhere that Logitech Harmony One/1100 is able to control Astro, hopefully Astro Byond as well.
Can any owners concur?
Even if the devices are not on the database already, all universal remotes have "learning" ability, so it can learn from the original remote (assuming one has the original remote). I read somewhere that Logitech Harmony One/1100 is able to control Astro, hopefully Astro Byond as well.

Having said that, I've never had any device that wasn't already on the Harmony database. Even obscure set top boxes, cable tvs, etc. is not a problem. You just need to note the hardware model number printed on the back/bottom of the device and key that into the database.
