The last time I was on a date and I can say that its a FIASCO..
The gal din tell me that she had a bf.. and BF turn up in front of us..
Nearly punched me but since I'm overweight, he dun dare..
Which was lucky coz i dun want him lose face in front of his gf by nose-bleeding..

Its only awkward if you make it awkward. Holding a person's hand to lead them somewhere is normal, so if you play it cool its not a problem at all. You dont have to worry about girls thinking you're a toucher, girls like to be touched, you just need to know HOW to touch them properly

Last time i watch movie with a guy on 2nd date.

Then i purposely put my hand on his armrest and slowly drop my fingers towards his side.

Luckily he smart oso la,he slowly grab one finger at a time lor,starting from baby finger.

Then when i no reaction he grab another finger,after a while hor,grab whole hand liaooo..

so 2nd date shud be ok to hold hand lor...but dont grab so hard la,grab gently ma

wuwu, i try did that on 1st date..

I delibrately put my arm on the arm rest in the cinema, leaving a bit space for her hand but she just cross her arm..

haha.. i still blame the cinema for not being cold..
Never mind.. There's always a Round 2..
As long not GAME OVER, still got chance geh..

p/s, there r just some people who dun prefer to hold hands.......
like me....wen i go out wit my girl, i dun hold her hand....(except in cinema, coz it's cold)
it's not dat i dun like her, i'm just not the hold hand type.

cinema really the best place....
it's cold, no fear of sweaty palm.....

if she dun wan, den she will pull away without a word, coz u can talk in cinema.....
den u can just faham-faham & awkwardly continue the movie.....no big dea.......

another suggestion....get a present for her......
something dat wear on her hand, like ring o bracelet......
show her the present, grab her hand & wear for her b4 she took the chance away....
while u r grabbing her hand, giv some complement, like "dis looks nice on u", o say something sweet......
den say something like....."ur hand r so <compliment word>, i wish i could keep holding it.......(eye contact)"

giving the signal "U r so desperate" person to her ya..

(try to hold her hand when leading somewhere.. If she dun wan take her hand away, means u success.. If she try take away her hand, say sorry and pretend like nothing happen)

u use the "ops" idea, lets say she buys it....
den i presume dat u will feel shy, happy & slightly giggly in the inside.....
