I'm on my way closer to buy the Venomous X cooler. Before I confirmed buying, I want to ask on the space clearance issue especially around the RAM location. I'm using Gigabyte EX58-Extreme mobo, Kingston HyperX rams (short height, not T1) with Kingston HyperX Ram Fan cooler. The rams were installed triple channel @ 2nd + 4th + 6th slot position.
I'm planning to do a push-pull config for the Veno X, using 2 units of Scythe S-Flex 120mm (25mm thickness). Heatsink pipes will be facing the NB position for installation.
Can i use back my Kingston HyperX ram fan cooler? What are your thoughts?
Btw, should i get the 1600rpm or 1900rpm Scythe S-Flex fans? is the 1900rpm noisy since i'm planning to use 2 units?

By the way...if you are testing the cooler...make sure you set the fan speed equally among all the cooler...that way you can really see if the heatsink is really good or not....
if you using random speed..or set to auto...then your testing will be meaningless...which we can get from the frostytech anytime...
Good luck brother..really wanting for you result...also dont forget the BARAM...sound like good one too..

I have a pair of the same fans...if running at full speed...kinda loud, IMHO... if put in delta, sure damn loud, put would prolly see afew degC lower... btw, NICE review. This post has been edited by ravewar: Mar 8 2010, 10:20 AM
