just changed my brake pad and coolant last weekend, using GEP brake pad and new GEP coolant red (instead of green) tongue.gif

user posted image

and one thing i have noticed, after changing new coolant, after drive it once, my air con fan automatically turned on after i shut down my engine, and it lasted about 2-3min to shut down by itself, any reason for that?

previously my stock temp gauge usually slight reach 2 bars, now my temp gauge is on 1.5bar, my engine feels cooler now rclxms.gif

how are the brakes? much better? anyway.... i think u only can really review it once its really run in / bed in.

fan on automatically for that long after u shut the engine off??? humm dunno about that. i am using original Toyota long life coolant (RED).
*
after install the new brakes, at first a bit spongy than before, after drove it for like 4-5km, then the brake starting to get better, but still feels not much difference compare before, probably because i fixed my rear brake drum before which results the brakes performs at lot better? oh well, will review the new brake once its bed in, is it necessary to drive 2k only the new brake starts to bed in?

lol, we are using the same coolant, toyota stuff are mostly OEM by GEP which is under UMW.

about the fan spinning even you turn off the engine...is because the engine is operating above the recommended temperature....i guess you didnt wait for the radiator water to drop and wait for all the trap bubbles appear and fill in until full......last time i do have the same problem also...fill in fully in the radiator but did not know inside still got air trap inside...so as the air goes out the water level drop causes the temperature to rise thus cause the engine operating extreme hot that is why the fan spins.....do check on the coolant level to see if it drops or not after few days of driving.
*
I see, no wonder the mechanics asked me to check the water level on the next morning which i forgot to check it tongue.gif

I am not sure about that, normally for me I will wait for a few seconds till all the indicator lights are off except for the handbrake and can't remember which light, then turn to ignition.
*
mine mostly wait till the airbag lights off then ignite it, but these lately, my car starting to get hard to start the car for 1-2 times, oh gosh.... i hope there's nothing wrong with it.

normally when the spec said 40litres, usually the total full tank would be around 45L, 5L reserve for the emergency purpose but for persona, the spec stated 50L, and we tested out the real car is only up to 40L *faint*

Just installed pivot VS-1 with stock grounding (comes with 3-point) in EA. Now my whole ride is smooth... very smooth.... it fixed the kompressor lag as well in 80%. Initially wanted to install 5 point grounding kit, but EA no stock for the custom made, have to go back again to re-install when they have stock.

Just accept the fate? lol
[attachmentid=1560299]

Car accessories shop is really evil. As usual, i also 'accidentally' bought a voltage stabilizer a few weeks ago  laugh.gif  But the thing is:

No more power loss when air cond kick in => No
No more light dim when air cond kick in => No
Fuel consumption => Nothing

SO I can't find any good thing except for I can monitor the battery voltage so that i can predict its lifetime limit. I think I might suffered something bad and don't want to admit to u guys, i think  laugh.gif

mine is MT, can tell the difference when engage the gear and idle, shouldnt be the AT is the one has a huge difference? hmmm.... will take a snap on my VS and post it soon. hmm.gif

wait a minute... u already modified the alarm? Meh... Maybe becoz of the new alarm module i think. How about before you installed the alarm?
I saw Darkangel already ordered the item also. I wonder got any significant improvement or not  hmm.gif
*
that i'm not so sure, i installed it after i got my car, added the remote boot trunk release feature so i did not aware about the doors indicator.

for the door rubber sealing, it's actually quite effective in short while, but in long run might not be a good idea, becoz everytime the door keep open and close, it makes the rubber gets thinner and it becomes hardened, which results the wind noise will start to say hi to you again so the effectiveness will becomes in vain, not to mention that you will have a hard time to remove it.

You petrol is made from fish oil or something?
wut the... how old are u...?  rclxub.gif

So my car have to put far2, since not nice looking anymore for now
no prob haha. As for my case since i installed the Mugen spoiler, my boot became heavier. When other people want to close my boot, they simply let go and the sound made me "wtf"  mad.gif  Usually when i want to close my boot, pull down until left till like 1 - 2 inch gap left, then let go
Hopefully

Oooo... no wonder... well, cannot drive fast and furious when mum is inside the car, for me

Alamak... u forgot the "before and after" picture  tongue.gif  But wait a minute.... why your engine looks stock standard one..? I thought pedal-to-the-metal person like u should at least install those bars, open pod, etcccc...?
dont worry, still can come also even u dont get your persona yet
anywhere is fine for me as long as halal

you should not try shell at the first place haha.

for me will only go for esso and bhp
*
one thing i noticed, petronas seems like giving more mileage than BHP and BHP give just a slight more power than petronas (RON95). In terms of engine smoothness, both are the same. I guess the synthium formula gave a good match with petronas RON95. So right now i dont mind to pump bhp and petronas now. Shell is the worst except the V-power, probably i should try out esso as well but i dont have any cards that can collect points from esso.
