10k?? are you serious? rich ah you...

wow! you are way too caution on this... if the belt do break within 80k, you are entitle to the warranty, am i right? so, why you want to spend money on this? better spend to modify your car...

bro..... NOBODY on earth changes timing belt at every 10k. NOBODY.

normal time to change timing belt is ranging from 80 to 100k. it WILL NOT break before 100k UNLESS you are using FAKE / 2ND GRADE PARTS.

i hv been driving and owning various cars in my life for donkey years and this is the first time i hear ppl saying they want to change timing belt every 10k. I would like to become ur mechanic if can... so i can earn a lot from you ripping you off.

Persona's stock brakes especially those B and M lines with drums at the rear.... the brakes sucks. If wanna maintain more less stock.... i highly recommend you to replace the front stock Bosch brake pads to aftermarket pads. It improves it quite a while.

I have replaced mine with trestor advantage pads. it brakes far better than stock now. there are also reported improvement by ppl changing the master pumps to gen2 pumps or mitsu pumps. why? you will be suprised to know that B and M line personas are using 1.3 litre master pumps.
but if dun wan to spend a lot then just change the pads will do.

Look at things positively, you dont need to worry about timing belt if you change it that frequent

wats hapening on proton ya? my SA mentioned now they pending / temp stop the production of M , H line Especially Auto......dam..i need to wait for few week again to c wat proton gona announce..dam regrate,disappointed on proton..

as some of my persona frens also mentioned the same thing..thats why now almost produce on B line or MT only...otherwise i should get my car this week liao = = haiz

other forum mention is ECU & brake problem...thats y now stopped producing until they found out the problem and fixed it ..   proton memang boleh

yea....my fren also booked last week..the SA told him the same thing as my SA say..even show him the official memo from proton....so.........proton boleh .some of the "white mice" just get their new car  breakdown canot start engine ...masuk back Service center already after 2nd day....

Im pretty regret that giving them last chance edi..haiz

filtered water is not safe enough as it still contain minerals.You need distilled water.

just came back from dyno my 100% stock 7 months old 1.6 Persona automatic.

Dyno result kinda crappy i would say. hahahaha

Max whp = 73.14
Max torque = 112.06

Both TC or SC also ok, but wallet must be thick enough to change it hahaha

But I prefer SC more TC. Because SC is more for improve on Low tor power

today i was with my gf and her friends who came down from SG. drove them from mont kiara to cheras for dinner and then went the curve to have some drinks after then. after i parked in the curve, when we got out of my car, the friend asked whether this is a new proton car model. she said it's comfortable. i told her the model was launched in 2007, so not new at all.
she drives a VW EOS in SG, so hearing her said that my persona is comfortable really means a lot and made me happy. i think the NVH, suspension and smooth auto transmission made the ride comfortable.

also, after sending everyone back including my gf, as i was heading upwards to kerinchi link from federal highway KL direction, i took the corner at about 70kmph using the inner lane. upon exiting the corner, i suddenly felt my car's butt kind of swerve outwards like a little oversteering. i straight away let go my accelerator and control my steering to counter it slightly and applied a soft pressure of brake. in about a second or so, i got the car's body to be moving straight again.
the road was still wet after the rain. not sure was it because of my maneuver or perhaps the EBD worked, but I'm sure thankful that nothing happened to me and my car.

yesterday i clean up my aircond filter and its cool now hehe.. tq guys
