The SA told me that the new Persona is casing 0.18 - 0.22 per km... any prove?

As i look all the forum and the reply log as i can see got different different answer...

your ray tech is what model? mine is CS-85 comes in titanium color, gold color, and grey color. there is another cheaper vision is CS-75, the color is not so nice, comes in blue color, green  color, black color.

after surveying other persona that uses ray tech, (my point of view) the grey is best.
it depends what you want for your car...

example: 20w50

the 20 is for the cool start. the lower the number, the more cooler you can start your car without damaging your engine.

the 50 is for the engine running on high temperature, the high the number the oil is thicker and can run on extreme high temperature.

if you go to the shop where they sell motor oil. you will notice that those high performance oil for racing is 10w60.

*also note that the thicker the oil will make your engine heavy and will result your FC high too.

Hi...i wanna buy the new Persona Elegance, however, i got some questions regarding the procedures.

First, if i apply for the loan by myself, will i charged for any fee by the bank? Such as misc fees, procedural fees and so on.

Second, how can i request for the quotation from SA? I only can request after i pay the booking fee, or i can request when i'm interested?

anyone here did a remap on your persona's ECU?
i heard ppl saying by remapping the car's ECU will make the best out of your engine...

re-program the engine control unit, change the characteristic of the engine to produce more power/torque or the other way around.

proton ecu cant reprogrammable.. proton use siemens ecu rite?

i'm thinkin of upgrading my audio player to Sony CD with USB player
that cost me rm469 for player and rm99 for single din casing.
Any comments on this sony player? How about the casing? anyone use it before?




i'm jealous with the new elegance, even the base line got mp3 with usb... ha...ha...ha..

Test drove the new car AT M-Line, here's what i think for the comparison:

- NVH is indeed slight better than the old one, the engine sound is quieter than my M-Line even i did the soundproofing.
- freaking cool instrumental meter, i like the red light needle part and dimming part.
- break still remain unchange, spongy.....
- handling is still the same except my streering starting got cracking sound (sigh)
- power, i found it the old one has more power, maybe because facelifted is a new car (not seasoned yet) and my M-line is MT
- chiffon green first colour that makes me drool about it
- new side rear mirror is huge compare to old one! reduced a lot of blindspot.
- AC kompressor quieter than old one

if you guys try to notice, the facelifted AC pipe is different with the old one.


picture above is the old model version, when u test drive the persona elegance, try to open the engine bay and check the same red spot with the above picture, u will know what i mean wanna ask the SA about the difference about that but he seems doesnt know much about technical from the very beginning when he intro the car, so i'll just ask my favourable SC manager when i going for my next 10k service
from what i think so far, persona really has a bad wiring(grounding is very bad), even their facelifted version, i still think they has some bad wiring as well compare with others car, especially they putting a noisiness/powerful kompressor which will make the power lag (it's so obvious and it's very annoying everytime it kicks in) and i see a lot of persona (near to 50%) on the road the rear light always only 3 red bulb lighting up(usually 4), plus the automatic transmission is not responsive at all. So if possible, i highly recommend it to install VS with 5 grounding kits. We got a few persona owner who installed the VS+5 grounding kits, makes a lot of difference for the smoothness, not to mention it improved the fc as well.

My 1k service was done yesterday...
Very good SC, i listed down 7 small problems and all of it were settled, very satisfied with their services, besides it only cost rm141.55.

Hi Hypro, which SC you visit to install the orifice valve?? I did went to the Jln 227 PJ SC while mentioned this things in 1 month back they said they never heard of such things! suck~

I need to service for my 10K mileage already, since the Jln 227 is closing down then need to find another SC which near around PJ. Can you share how the orifice valve will be install anything i need to mention specifically in order to get the consultant understand my concerns on the knocking sound remedy.

finally get my persona elegance yesterday, damn i so like it....  
still got alot function dunno how to use like the radio, GPS etc.... now reading those manual book
