erm...let says a vent hole 2cmx2cm. If place a metal piece clipping or what ever hold it on the vent plastic cover (might cover up 1cmx1cm area out of the 2x2) but still leave some space for hot air flowing out.add leader outside and joint with a bigger metal plate (5x5 mayb).two piece of eraser(planing a thin 1 like 0.5cm thick) jacking up from cooling pad and another jack at cooling pad....it is a good way?reasonable?effective?

dun understand what i mean??mayb picture below will help....i just apply the same way but not weld the metal plate on any component and apply it at outside of the laptop. the metal plate act as conductor to conduct heat to the bigger plate and large area more effective to cool by cooling pad.
