hi guys. my laptop is really really hot

- laptop model: HP Pavilion DV3
- Age: 1 year 2months
- in aircond room (24^C)
- no programs run except mozilla firefox (7tabs) and msn messenger (3 conversations)
- using a normal rm30 laptop cooler

why is it so hot even though the cpu usage is below 50?

anyway to reduce the heat to acceptable levels?

thanks all.

drier?? heard that it will spoil ur components badly..
not sure abt it.. unscrew is the easier way.. wont spoil ur component..

i've asked some computer shops to help me clean it but they said they do not offer this service and i have to go to the HP service center to do it
is there a computer shop willing to do it for a fee? if yes how much does it cost roughly?

1. based on ur notebook.. NC2000 enough.. around RM200
3. Thermal is used to closed in the gaps between the CPU and the heatsink..
