I just bought Cooler Master Notepal U2 Plus at first i was planning to buy Notepal U2 but I can't find it in the shop what's the difference between the U2 and U2 Plus anyway? I like the design especially the movable fans but I think the fans are not cool enough I need more fans as the two fans only cover the processor area and HDD, I need another fan for the GPU/RAM area I wonder if Cooler Master sells only the fan should've bought U3 since it has 3 fans This post has been edited by descendant: Aug 12 2013, 04:18 PM

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Aug 19 2013, 04:10 PM) oh so is U3? got x3 also haha.. but u3 scare abit too big.. u3 and u2 only size different right? any other choice? hehe I don' think U3 is too big for 15" I'm using 15.6" and I find that the U2 is a bit too smal for 15" laptop it might be just perfect for 14" so I also recommend that you get the U3 plus it has 3 adjustable fans that you can move around to suit the venting of your laptop but you should try for yourself at the shops compare it with other cooler because I feel that the U2/U3 fans are a bit slow must be low rpm so not cool enough found a review of the U3 on the internet, can read about it http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/notepal_u3/got a pic from other post in LYN forum someone sharing his U2 pic with his 15.6" Lenovo y480p so you can see that the U2 is a bit small for a 15" the sides are a bit off This post has been edited by descendant: Aug 19 2013, 04:55 PM

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Aug 20 2013, 09:36 AM) custom made very headache la.. better go aftermarket lol.. long time no buy this cooler liao.. last time using this legendary zalman one.. but felt like no power and traps alot of dust.. really like the aluminum on it.. but i see this u3 also good can easily store inside back cos can put the laptop at the back of it, but will no scratch the laptop kah? especially the fan.. the fan is detachable, if you want to put your laptop at the back of it to carry around you have to detach the fans first or else the laptop won't even fit at the back u2 and u3 aluminium is quite good and since the fans are detachable should be easy to clean
