Added on January 22, 2011, 12:54 pm QUOTE(Talude @ Jan 20 2011, 09:59 AM) Hey all Hi Talude, you are only required to complete 6 subjects to graduate from the Taylor’s Pre-U CPU programme. There is thus no need to do four subjects in each semester. Doing three each, you’ll still complete it within a year. The English requirement is that you’ll need to complete the ENG4U in order to graduate. For more information and accurate advise, please speak to your programme office representatives, Ms Caryn or Ms Nadeline at Level 1, Wisma Subang Jaya. This post has been edited by Taylor's Pre-U: Jan 22 2011, 12:54 PM |

QUOTE(dentalfloss @ Jan 24 2011, 01:29 PM) When can i start applying for Monash next yr intake? um this is the Taylor's thread not the Monash thread ^^"Does Monash change its admission period to september? What is the total fees including hostels and miscellaneous for pharm? Can I enter Monash(pharm) with band4 in MUET? What is the min requirement for IELTS if I want to do pharm? go check their website. The Monash website contains more than enough info to answer your questions. Monash Pharmacy programme like most other Aussie Pharmacy programmes only has a February intake but you of course have to apply really really early to secure places. Monash doesn't recognize MUET. They want IELTS. All this info is available on their website. |

QUOTE(Xaphier @ Jan 24 2011, 04:27 PM) Hello guys, what is the deadline for Engineering course intake? The website only stated February, but not the exact date. Unless the course is already full, they will still continue taking in students up until the intake date itself and also during orientation week. Go to prospective students on the website and you will be able to see the exact intake date.QUOTE(lovesalwaysthere @ Jan 24 2011, 04:37 PM) Bachelor of Arts for what? There's a few of those. If you want the exact academic calender with all the details on holidays, exam dates etc. you would have to go to the Divisional Office for that or you will be given a copy during orientation. |

Thanks for the info. Another query, what is the tuition fee annually for Engineering major in Chemical? I can't seem to find it anywhere on their website. I want to get some rough idea first before visiting the campus office.
Oh by the way, the Engineering course is at the Lakeside campus right? |

I don't know if it's the right thread to ask this question but here goes anyways...
I will be done with my Taylor's Business Foundation course next week... And I'm currently in a dilema choosing between Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Accounting and Finance.... My plan was to take Bachelor of Commerce and take Finance subjects as my elective but I was told it is better to take the Bachelor of Arts because it is more recognize and it has Honors and so on so on... But some said it's both the same just that Bachelor of Arts is more exam based and Bachelor of Commerce is more assignment based.... Any advice? |

Might lose my study momentum |

Going for something like ACCA?CPA? etc.? You want to become an Accountant? You want to further study after your Degree into masters or something?Btw, I prefer UWE subjects as I do not have to learn the basic stuff (microeconomics , maths and so on) for the first year but waiting 8 months for the October intake is a really long period of time.. Might lose my study momentum and when you said it was more recognized. You mean it's more recognized as in? Don't need to learn basic stuff in UWE? Look at the course structure. http://www.taylors.edu.my/photo/business_s...e_structure.jpg You still need to learn Business Statistics and Global Business Context is actually pretty similar to Economics lol ^^" see their description Global Business Context (UMED7A-20-1, UMEC7A-20-1, UMECX5-20-1) In a fast moving and increasingly globalised business environment, it is essential that all students on business-related programmes have knowledge of certain structured tools of analysis which allow them to understand both the forces driving change in that environment and how they impact upon business. This module is designed to give you the tools and frameworks to allow you to analyse and comment on the global, regional and national economic environment of business in a structured and rigourous way using accepted analytical frameworks from both business and economics. For full details, including assessment, please see the Module Specification. http://www1.uwe.ac.uk/bbs/currentstudents/...s/econ.aspx#gbc |
