QUOTE(hatshepsut @ Apr 30 2010, 07:25 PM) Hi tek, sorry if I'm being rude. But would like to know have you had any problems with your new G73JH? Since I've actually ordered it from XoticPC (7-8 weeks waiting) and I've seen lots of complaints about defective GPU or screen. Am thinking if i should just cancel my order if it would have a high chance of getting a defective item. Do you have any problem of this? Appreciated much if you could let me know. |

QUOTE Don't think need specific pictures lol. It's just the are under where the GPU is situated which would be on the upper most bottom right side of the laptop if you're facing the screen. However, I only gauge this when I am using it on my lap placing the notebook on my pillow or my blanket which isn't so good for cooling. Didn't check it while on the table top. Might just do it this weekend if I have the time aww came on dude. seriously? you like killing your lappy just put a layer of think book underneath your lappy's ventilation. QUOTE Not sure about the Sillypore option . . but I do believe they prefer bank wire as well. But if you need assurance of customer service then I'll say go with the US Resellers. The sillypore one *I ain't Mentioning nAmes* has barely no customer service if you aren't a paying customer. So you will get no assurance or replies whatsoever if you want to find out about a prospective purchase helping you a bit. but he do reply my PM once back in the time. |

personally i don't mind about bag and mouse. i mean i want them, but its not a factor for me to decline from buying this pricewise gaming lappy.
sometimes people care more about something small rather, and forgot the bigger picture. |

QUOTE(julchin_09 @ May 16 2010, 12:34 PM) Depends Doc. I have a friend who wants the whole package with the R.O.G accessories. I think its more about being associated with the whole franchise and the company. He thinks its worth it getting the backpack and the R.O.G Mouse. I think its because he see's me with the full Alienware lIneup so he wants the same but from a diff company. yep, thats why i said personally.but those bag and mouse are nice actually. more like collective items for me ! |

QUOTE(kenling @ May 16 2010, 01:00 PM) i did the rma here in malaysia becos my "free" shipping takes a lot of coordination so it was not worth sending back to usa. it took exactly 1 month for the repair becos they have no spares here for a model that's not avail in malaysia. they replaced my screen. ok that.is.badd... i hope Malaysia already have all the spare part needed for this laptop.. |

I don't blame them for the long rma time becos the model is not avail here. yep. thats kind of you QUOTE(hatshepsut @ May 16 2010, 01:14 PM) That is true. As long as the people has good manners and know what they are doing. That's the most important thing. |

QUOTE(astria @ May 26 2010, 09:47 AM) anyone planning to order G73Jh, hold it first... not bad.. in fact, great news they will come equipped with Seagate's latest HDD, Momentus XT, which is a hybrid drive... on top of the capacity and 32MB cache found in Momentus 7200.4 drives, Momentus XT comes with 4GB read-only NAND chips as well... brief intro at DailyTech and benchmark at AnandTech basically, i would put it as eliminating bottleneck (as someone puts it) without cost u an arm and a leg... to be perfectly honest, this is my first time hearing about hybrid drives... |
