QUOTE(JanqEs @ Jul 7 2010, 03:02 PM) i went there already(the website).. n i just wanna know 2 things.. that website is using what currency? and how to we pay it? via bank transaction or ? They only accept USD. As for the money matter, they will only accept bank wire for international transactions. But don't worry as it is really easy to do the TT.

Seems like our lovely members have replied you, JanqEs. Thus, I believe that I do not have to waste my energy to retype again. About the opinions on this notebook, I would rate it 98% out of 100%. Great performance notebook I can say but don't take it too seriously or personally as everyone has their own expectations for this machine. Added on July 7, 2010, 7:02 pmQUOTE(Viperion @ Jul 7 2010, 05:08 PM) Service is an understatement! Ken actually put my laptop as under warranty, repaired unit and under declare the value so I don't even need to pay the RM 18 customs declaration form I mentioned to him he doesn't need to do it as Malaysia has no duty charges for computer items although I think they did it to save on shipping insurance payment Added on July 7, 2010, 5:11 pmNyaa Nyaa Dude, you forgot the coupon code to get the 3% cash back discount. Again check my previous post for detailed instructions on ordering from GentechPC & payment through banks. I got my unit, burning last recovery DVD You are fast! But burning all those 6 DVDs of recovery discs took quite some time yea. Post some pics or reviews! This post has been edited by Jeffrey1987: Jul 7 2010, 07:02 PM

QUOTE(faiz2036 @ Jul 7 2010, 05:59 PM) Asus malaysia post the launching the g73h in Malaysia.. the price is rm9999!! overprice yo.. better import.. Totally agree with you! Better import it from US rather than buy it locally. Damn expensive to buy it locally if you ask me. Added on July 7, 2010, 7:05 pmQUOTE(Viperion @ Jul 7 2010, 06:01 PM) My unit already launch liao LMFAO! Forgot to say: "恭喜恭喜!!!" . . . Congratulations once again! QUOTE(Viperion @ Jul 7 2010, 08:14 PM) Well if you mean the internal audio cards handles SPDIF signals then I need to check but I bet it can. However there are no standard SPDIF ports in this unit. Trust me, the information provided in this model is abysmal. I can find more information in this thread than all the instruction, warranty, etc. manuals they provided Added on July 7, 2010, 8:16 pmThanks for the translation, I'm a yellow banana, LOL! Can speak but cannot read and write Anyway, what is your 1st impression of this notebook?

QUOTE(devkamal @ Jul 7 2010, 08:34 PM) i went to penang today looking for headset, they dont have cyber snipa sonar 5.1 , megalodon cost 545, they ran out of logitech g35's.. looks like i will b getting from ebay... The Razer Megalodon is totally out of my budget. That's why I choose Roccat Kave. However, some of the people out there said that 7.1 surround sound (Razer Megalodon) is kinda gimmick thing. Oh yea guys, forgot to mention that one of the toughest thing (in terms of aesthetic value) I have to deal with is the "conservation" of the speaker grill mesh from the "pollution" of minute dust from going into the small crevices of the speaker grill mesh.

QUOTE(JanqEs @ Jul 7 2010, 09:48 PM) Intel Core i7-720QM, 1.60-2.80GHz, 2.5 GT/s, 45nm, 6MB, 45W Intel Core i7-840QM, 1.86-3.2GHz, 2.5 GT/s 45nm, 8MB what's differ this two? Intel Core i7-840QM has a faster clocked CPU than Intel Core i7-720QM. If you plan to upgrade it, my advice is a NO. Not worth it IMHO.

QUOTE(JanqEs @ Jul 7 2010, 09:57 PM) IMHO is?? huu. sorry kinda new to this forum.. heeee.. owh.. if i compare this laptop.. with the sager n9285 with it geforce gtx480 which is better? IMHO = In My Humble Opinion Which CPU is equipped inside the Sager N9285 ? In terms of GPU performance, GTX480 will pawn 5870. Nevertheless, GTX480 consumes more power and thus will be "hotter".

QUOTE(devkamal @ Jul 7 2010, 09:57 PM) yeap, its virtual surround sound not true surround like cyber snipa, theres only 1 40mm speaker, cyber snipa has 4 in each cup... anyways can u use the surround on roccat kave, it has 4 3.5 mm input jack, asus only has headphone and mic output.. I can't fully utilize the 5.1 surround sound of my Roccat Kave as I have no external sound card installed yet.

QUOTE(JanqEs @ Jul 7 2010, 10:12 PM) been saving alot lately.. huhu.. thats y.. it was last week or last two that i thinking of buy macbook pro.. but then.. when i open this forum.. saw this thread.. that i change my mind by buying this rig.. With this rig, you can play most of the "high def" games out there. After I have referred the GenTechPC, you can only customize your CPU to the highest of Intel Core i7 Extreme 940XM, 2.13~3.33GHz, 2.5 GT/s, 45nm, 8MB, 55W. Do you notice it?

Added on July 7, 2010, 10:23 pmQUOTE(devkamal @ Jul 7 2010, 10:21 PM) no i meant the usb external sound card.. im getting the cyber snipa, once i ordered asus.. but be sure to check it out, cyber snipa sonar 5.1.. turtle beach also makes some cool headset... @ Viperion I agree. We should get dealership for Malaysia or even wider South East Asia region for promoting Ken Lee of GenTechPC. Maybe we can get some wages or allowance . . . LMAO! As for all the Malaysian out there . . . strictly speaking only the Low Yatt members . . . can ask us to assist you when you guys encounter some problems with the buying process of Asus G73Jh from Ken Lee of GenTechPC. For the headset, I plan to buy Logitech G35 to replace my current Roccat Kave. Do you guys think that is a good idea? This post has been edited by Jeffrey1987: Jul 8 2010, 06:28 AM

QUOTE(riku2replica @ Jul 8 2010, 10:09 AM) Sager notebook has the least problem as most of their manufacturing line has rather strict QC. I have been thinking of buying Sager before this but eventually choose Asus G73Jh for its low price/performance ratio. This post has been edited by Jeffrey1987: Jul 8 2010, 06:44 PM
