QUOTE(blue_decamax @ Mar 9 2010, 04:27 PM) but iianm the engine still not exactly like LC clutch. if modified, it's more like "klac mati" rite? the just change the engine case & then just insert clutch cable n stuff but still change gear like n-1-2-3-4, not like ori clutch LC 1-n-2-3-4 somehow u are right on this 1..juz my opinion & i've seen 1 LC ss convert to clutch n the clutch system is juz like what i've said. sorry if i'm wrong, correct me.... the gear still not the same..and probably the gear ratio also.. |

QUOTE(Are_keem @ Mar 13 2010, 11:22 PM) just normal one la (shift down for all gears --> N - 1 - 2 -3 -4 ) although ES version came with hand clutch. and one more thing, LC only got 4 gears not 5 like FZ or 6 like 125Z / RXZ. hehehe es version gear like 125Z..but only have 4 gears..from N,shiftdown to 1..then shift up to 2-3-4.. |

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Mar 15 2010, 10:40 PM) hey akeem... leather gloves usually can buy in bike shops ar..? i need gloves!!! my handle ar.. if i ride more than 15mins and not letting my hand off the handle.. my tapak tangan will go red cause of the handle rubber.. haha.. expensive..? but u will have to take some time to get adjusted riding with glove..especially on brake pressure QUOTE(Are_keem @ Mar 15 2010, 10:56 PM) for me, i prefer synthetic + cloth glove more because wearing leather glove especially during hot day will made my handpalm sweat. one more thing, i think leather glove is more suitable for easyrider or chopper rider aka uncle-style one.. hahaha this also leather what.. price i'm not very sure, mine is around rm50 with knuckle protector. this is my 3rd glove, previous two i sold it off because not very suitable with my taste (padding on the palm area too thick, uncomfortable + less grip on throttle). but the 1st time I wore glove, i felt a lil bit awkward lol ![]() synthetic leather will feel hot la..but if genuine leather not hot..coz been wearing 1.. btw if have moneeh..better go for branded helmet..HJC,OGK,AFX,Nolan also produce good helmet....can get open face at RM500-700 that passed Snell and DOT..also have a good ventilation..no need to score for an arai or shoei i'm wearing nolan for now..N43-air with dark visor.. QUOTE(alexei @ Mar 16 2010, 06:57 AM) Guys, here's a little bit of reality on riding gears pricing. well..u know..tax..Beware, even our fellow malaysian shops sell closeout items at cutthroat price. http://www.newenough.com/browse/best_deals Checkout the HJC FS15 full face, USD$115 only. I would check reviews for gloves before I buy. The kangaroo skin example up there, looks good. Just make sure got double stitching at least, and the threads do not show any sign of rework... I've got a HJC carbon fibre full face. well..the picture i put above is clover RS-4..original 1.. |

actually about helmet withstanding wind thingy..same design have same wind effect..the difference is just the helmet fitting..
-loose helmets tend to vibrate at high speed..remember that.. thats why i ask u guys to go to shop and do a fitting quest there..tight at the cheek is ok..better a bit tight at cheek.. last time i spend RM100 on my arai RX7 RR4 to get a tighter cheek pads.. and make sure u have a good fit at ur skull..that is important..not too tight and not loose.. and better wear a skull cap when fitting ur helmet and also when using ur helmet..either oxford, alpinestar or coolmax.. it can make ur helmet less smelly and also give a space for air flowing inside ur helmet..currently i use coolmax with normal helm..Oxford balaclava for long distance travel(also acts ass mouth cover from dust) balaclava ![]() skull cap ![]() This post has been edited by serigala: Mar 18 2010, 02:04 AM |

QUOTE(alexei @ Mar 18 2010, 08:40 AM) ARC helmets: There are two models, the Discovery and another one I think is called Pilot. Only the Discovery is made of fibre glass (or maybe the Pilot, whichever is more expensive). nope..ARAI RX7 RR4 liner is removable..RR3 is fixed..RR4 and RR5 can be removed..RM140 is cheap tho. Added on March 18, 2010, 8:43 amserigala: The ARAI you got, the liner is fixed one, right? I remember I did a research when looking for helmet. RM130 on mudah.my about half a year ago. The seller told me got SIRIM, with fixed liner and he told me is 'ARAI ciplak'. I found them in store penang for about the same price... |

QUOTE(daush12 @ Mar 18 2010, 08:47 AM) hello ..just want to ask...i see that my friend mod to his lc..he change the back tyre to the tzm ones..does it increase profmnce or?? no it will not..it will decrease in raw performance..for the heavy and bigger tyre..but in exchange..u will have stability on high speed(which i will doubt LC have the ability to reach it)..but cornering will be a bit heavy..QUOTE(alexei @ Mar 18 2010, 09:23 AM) daush12: you ask your friend loh... but..but..but..RR5 has a tiny spoiler on it..serigala: I see. thanks. That makes the RR4 even more worth considering. |
