mastering89: Google "digital GND"; you can brighten the lower bit while keeping the sun intact.

mastering89: Oops as it turns out GND isn't specific enough - it's a Graduated Neutral Density filter so I should've said to Google "digital graduated ND".

it is sharp... but because its f 1.8 , the dof only extends to the meatballs..its so shallow that the fork is blurred smile.gif...ahh.. imagine what f 1.4 woud do

hahaha 1Malaysia kot?

anyway.. i was thinking of 'IR'ing my a350..
how much and where can i get such service?
*
i saw at alphanatics someone quote RM500 plus postage
saw some pics of IR alpha's , does it come out directly that way or have done some pp??
really nice colors than using the normal IR filter...,
also easier than using IR filter ,.juz snap like normal dslr
using IR filter need long exposure, set the white balance and blah3x...

owh that much..
gona think about it more..
imagine IR + fisheye woohooo

so what really happens?
any manipulation to the sensor only? or change the sensor?
*
that part i'm not sure...
but i saw at ebay got sell IR CCD Conversion service for a300/a350 (Link)
i'm assuming juz change the sensor
but at alphanatics , one owner of IR alpha said he owns one of the successful IR converted alpha..
i think that means that there are some "unsuccessful" ones ??? sweat.gif
try to contact Dr ali from kuantan there...
and share it here also please icon_rolleyes.gif
