ieR, somehow its a good move to place the on/off switch where it is now. on the nikons, i can turn on and off the camera with a single handed operation. it's saving one step away from taking the pic.

on the smaller alpha, i think it's a waste of good space on the top of the camera. could easily fit 3 huge buttons for easy access there

way at the bottom of the D-pad, the blue-ish icons.. if it follows the same, those should be the view and trashcan buttons

:nods: but how often do you use it? i can honestly say including my A100 days, till today, i've used that button like less than 10 times for its actual purpose, the other times i use it is it test COD lenses for its aperture smoothness

ieR: ok, then i think its my screen's issue for the over saturation. not using my own laptop now. it could be the screen difference from my own. now at least i have a rough idea on how to compensate for the mean time. thx

QUOTE
1. how to capture nice picture during night without using flash? lot of noise and it capture picture very very slow, wat setting i should use and how to set it?
2. the P,M,S,A setting how to use?
3. the manual focus how to use? and how to make the focus point clear bit?
4. why always no focus point then cannot capture pic zzzzz

my ver. of answer:

1. use tripod. for your A380, highest with acceptable noise i would go is ISO400, 800 in certain situations. make use of your F/1.8.
2. u mean u've been using Auto mode all the while? temporarily forget P mode 1st, use A mode, set your aperture, then when u half press the shutter, u will notice a change in shutter speed, if u wish to use full M, transfer both the aperture value and shutter speed value to M and adjust from there. u will notice a bar moving left and right, the camera 'thinks' a proper exposure will fall in the 0 (zero) position.
3. manual means u need to turn the focusing ring to acquire focus. how to make focus point clearer ? buy A900.. BIG pentaprism = CLEAR view LOL biggrin.gif
4. u also know how to say no focus point, then how can it take picture? the camera is not as smart as a human, it needs contrast edges to lock focus. if all else fail, use manual focus

so meaning there's no dedicated ISO button and SSS swtich, and having an empty left side of the screen seems well, empty... the plastic seems like marble texture, and the Fn button seems to lonely there... sad.gif

destfull, how can u justify what you've said regarding the grip and joystick? its the same as the old A700 D-pad (joystick) and have u held the A7xx before? how would u know its not as comfortable if not more? and when u said you're disappointed by its LCD, do u mean by tilt angle or resolution?

Mo0, u seriously planning on letting your new G go? why why why? finding it not satisfying? and finally, WHY?

QUOTE(zergling @ Feb 22 2010, 06:13 PM)
confirmed diff mount? aiks, why same sensor size but diff mount  blink.gif

its the same as ollie's 4/3 and micro 4/3s, if the E-Pen wants to use a normal ollie lens, it will need a adapter to fit. same goes here. its due to the difference of distance from the lens' rear element to the sensor.
