Say, can anyone speak about the M15x's battery life at all? Is it even remotely good?
I'll definitely carry my charger around, but say I just want to use it in Starbucks or something just to check my e-mail/Facebook/Redtu-- UH FOOTBALL STATISTICS. How long would it last on the lowest settings?
Or maybe enough for one or two rounds of Street Fighter?

Don't they supply a disc filled with all the drivers?

I just got my M15x in the mail today. DAMN this thing is big! So far I've tried TF2, Left 4 Dead 2, Portal and Far Cry 2.
I can max out Far Cry 2 and get 25-30fps, or put it at high and get 30-50fps. But the screen tearing is awful, so I put high+V-Sync =\
TF2, Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal all run beautifully all maxed out at about 8xAA and V-Sync on, but they seem to be locked at 60fps

There was a guy on the Garage Sales board that said the Pandora's Box is haram to keep in your house.

I agree. That's what I've been trying to tell every freakin' body, no one seems to want to be open minded AT ALL.

But let's not touch on such sensitive matters, back to Alienware.
My M15x BSoD'd on me twice. Once when I tried loading my old save file on Fallout 3(but it worked after that), another when I plugged in my Death Adder at work(again, worked after that). Alienware, I are disappoint

What could you possibly do with more than one copy? ._.

I got my Deathadder, and while it takes time to get used to, it will eventually definetely increase my killstreaks.
As for the mouse pad, I'm using the one I got for free with The Orange Box. At my shop we've got a Razer Goliathus which feels just the same, so I don't wanna waste money buying a new mouse pad which is the same.
It's also nice and big so I have enough space to move around.

Added on March 24, 2010, 4:29 pmAlright, here's a problem I've had for a while. I thought it was because of the fact that I had cheapo AVF headphones. Now I realize the settings are totally broken.

If I put in my headphones in the 3.5mm jack like normal, the sound is slightly distorted and echoey while it goes all mono. First I said(leave it be, I'll get a new better headset later on). Then after playing with the settings, I find out that if I go into the properties for "Speakers/Headphones" and check "Room Correction", it brings up a wizard that is supposed to fix my microphone in a place with speakers, and the music that's playing in the background suddenly sounds like it's supposed to!

Then I close the wizard, and the sound is all shitty again. What the hell. Then I close "Speakers/Headphones" and try test it by right-clicking it and then clicking "test", the stereo is broken.
However, if I do that for "Independent (R.T.C) Headphones", the stereo is just fine, leaving me to believe that that's supposed to be set to default in order to have better sound.

Bad news is I just can't set it to default. It just doesn't work. I can't even disable everything else, nothing works. Is there anything I can do about this?
