currently i use 32'' . but this tv dont have a HDMI port. just wanna know, is it have different if i didnt connect the HDMI cable to tv ?

and 1 more, how about samsung ph2770H ? is it good and enough for ps3 ?

how did u connect ps3 to the tv? using component/composite cables?

u mean samsung p2770H? as long it has hdmi port, its good enuf for ps3

connect use the 3 color cable which is red,white and yellow. and what cable left is HDMI cable. HDMI cable can give nice graphic ? hmm.gif

red white and yellow .... composite cable = standard tv gfx

hdmi cable = awesome hi-def gfx rclxms.gif 100x better than composite cable

Guys... i just found out that if i switch off my lcd tv while my ps3 still on, the ps3 will switch off automatically itself.. or if i turn on the ps3 before that the lcd tv is on... the ps3 will turn off automatically as well... if that normal???
I'm using a LG lcd tv....

if u have USD credited to ur US psn id, then u can only shop at US psn store.

its a separate entity, SGD in SG psn store, MYR in MY psn store

Hey guys wanna get your opinion. I have a 160gig ps3 phat and I'm freaking scared to install the new 3.42 update after all the 3.41 issues. Any of you guys with phat ps3s tried? Is it safe??

hello guys, getting ps3 soon so,
wanna ask,
1.why's it better to get a MY set than SG set from the posts i ve seen?
2. what are the differences in new models and cech-20 models ? and the cech-20 models are cheaper as well?
3. any significant difference buying from sony store and a normal game store?
4.how much hdd will be sufficient just for gaming,demos and game stuffs? is it wiser/cheaper to upgrade the hdd myself or buy the bigger hdd ps3?
5. and er what games do you guys usually play online biggrin.gif

its safe... no fw reported bricking ps3s... fw 3.42 is good to go

i don't think thats normal.. try connecting with the 3 cables-red,yellow, white n see if it happens again

    120gb should be sufficient enough... if not, u can upgrade anytime.. it does not void the warranty
5. and er what games do you guys usually play online biggrin.gif  cod:mw2, unchrted2, and many more...

1. i kinda live at the border of sg-my so if that's the only problem,dont think its much of a trouble, MY set cheaper than SG?no?
3.i think ive read some of you guys post refurbished or fake set from normal game store when sold cheaper,any way to identify one?
4.ohkay, is it cheaper to upgrade the hdd myself or straight away go for bigger hdd ps3?

as for changing hdd, the answer is no.

for vertical position, some might say its the best... some say otherwise... it doesn't really matter as long as you keep a good ventilation for the ps3.
