if your ps3 is fat, try switching off the main power switch on the back. pull out all the plugs and switch on your ps3 again. see if that works for you or not.

why do you want R1 ps3? are you living in the states? do you know you won't get any warranty if you buy ps3 outside of malaysia?

symptoms of ylod:

1-constant freezing and slow down.

2-strange colours on screen.

3-loud fan noise.

better to buy official sony malaysia set then other set because of warranty. i rather pay more for warranty then pay less and regret later when ps3 get ylod.

a common symptom of ylod is random shutdown followed by blinking red light. unless your ps3 is slim then you don't have to worry about ylod.
