Hi All,

- CECH-2106A
- CECH-2006A
- CECH-2006B

Just want to confirm, from the model above, CECH-2106A is 250GB ? and model 2006A and 2006B are for 120GB ? what is the different between 2006A and 2006B ?

PS3 CECH-2106A - 250GB is the only model using RSX 40nm ? and it is very much cooler than 120GB that i mentioned above ?

Thanks in advance !
*
2106A - 120gb
2106B - 250gb

yes, that model are using RSX 40nm, cooler marginally

2006A - 120gb
2006B - 250gb

previous model, replaced by the above models..

will the later model 160gb slim have much smaller RSX?
*
smaller than the ones in model 2106?.... then the answer is no (Cell 45nm, RSX 40nm)

soon to be two colours available (ceramic white/charcoal black), 160gb and 320gb model 25xx

i don't know whether Sony opted Wi-fi 802.11 N or still stick to B/G

on the hdd upgrades, there's seem to available for ps3 users those 750gb hdd... (waiting for 1tb hdd) rclxms.gif

capacity wise isn't really a big deal, can always upgrade right?
the difference will only be the colour, so i guess it's not really a big deal there.
*

Guys I've been wondering, do white PS3s have less risk of ylod? Well, since black absorbs heat, white reflects, etc...

If it does I might get myself a white PS3 slim instead of a black one. It looks sexier anyway smile.gif
*
invalid statement

Recently new ps3 model 25xx comes with two colours (white/black), 160gb and 320gb respectively.

So far no prob of ylod with ps3 slim atm

planning to buy THIS, but can i play ps3 on my desktop LCD ?im using Dell 24 inch lcd
*
get ps3 slim better... less hassle

as long as the lcd monitor has hdcp support, and have hdmi or dvi (need hdmi to dvi cable/adapter) input.

using hdmi to connect tv
all are default setting.. i set all to auto
tell me the setting i could use or change.
*
i assume u set ps3 to display 1080p

check ur display setting at XMB

Cross Color Reduction Filter - Off

RGB Full Range (HDMI) - Full

Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super-White (HDMI) - On

Also don't forget to adjust TV settings... check for contrast, brightness, sharpness, etc for best PQ

Have anybody ps3 slim been in YLOD? Need to know that faqs
*
you can sabotage ur own ps3 slim... just close the back vent... ps3 will go overheat after just an hour, then YLOD (yellow light then red light blinking) if lucky red light blinking...

some cases power supply overheated then gone... thats another issue, can't power on...

so far ps3 slim perform better than expected
