anyway to solve?

Error code 8002F147, my upgrade stops at 40-41% and when I restart it automatically begins a new upgrade progress. Can't access any menu's or stop the update progress.

Hi, everybody, did u all encounter the hdmi broken problem??
my problem is when i set the ps3 to hdmi, it just black screen, but just normal AV cable was ok and have try many method, like push the power button 5~10 sec, use another hdmi cable , change to another tv also can't
detect the hdmi connection

need help my monitor is lg2243t pf which i checked it suppose to support hdcp but when i plug to my ps3 using hdmi to dvi cable there is no picture. already checked the cable and it is ok and already setup my ps3 at display setting to hdmi. can someone help me please???

where can setting 1080i or 720p? at display setting when i choose hdmi then ask me wether to change or not  it does not ask to setting the resolution..ok i will try to search for the setting tonite..

but actually did i do it the right way where i connect my ps3 to both monitor (using hdmi to dvi cable) and to my tv (using yellow, red and white cable) at the same time. the picture will only appear at my tv only then i go to display setting and choose hdmi, after that my tv will go blank and my monitor will flick a bit but no picture but after 30 sec the picture appear back at my tv..fail

and oso try reset my ps3 to default setting also connect both my tv and my monitor at the same time since i cant get any picture at my monitor to do the setting. after it restart the picture only appear at my tv but it detect there is a connection using hdmi and then ask me whether want to change to hdmi connection and i pick yes. oso the same things happen after 30 sec it revert back to my tv..

so did i do wrong here?

anyone experiencing loud fan noise about 15-30 minutes of gameplay? i understand my system is going into overdrive and fan kicking into high gear due to it getting hot.... i am quite happy that my system is doing what it supposed to, but can this happening continouosly be healthy for the system?

thinking its dust, i have tried cleaning it using the fan test method, and using a small vacuum to pick up dust over the vents, but is there any other  way of cleaning it besides taking it apart?

is there any other solution for the loud fan problem?

u mean full-install game into hdd? so far only partial install (disc required) and the only full-installed games on hdd are psn games downloaded from psn store.

i do not advise to buy n install games from PSN STore which titles they have selling on CDs.. although its cheaper compared buying actual CD... but... HDD damage or currupt can and will occur.. in which u loose ur games bought via download... also.. u cant opt to sell ur game for cash ,swap or trade in with others

Been very, very long time since last I visit this section. Need to ask something, hope the sifus here can help.

I've been using my PS3 fat for a couple of years now, one of yhe best thing I ever bought. But now I'm thinking of getting the slim version just for the sake of bitstreaming, you guys probably already know just what a BD freak I am.

Question is, I bought and downloaded several games on my current PS3, and got several PSN ID (US/EU/MY) with several accounts in it. I know we can backup and restore them to the new PS3, or possibly re-download them, but I'm looking for a faster way to do that, and my lazy brain keep throwing me this idea: can I just swap the old HDD to the new PS3? As the firmware is not on the HDD but in the console's internal memory itself, I'm thinking it might just work?

What do you guys think? Ideas and suggestions are very much welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for your kind help.

PS: Anyone wanna trade their slim with my fat? It's the original 80GB with backwards compatibility with PS2 games. Perfect working condition.
