I already have a custom made emblem to cover the scratch but the emblem don't seem nice...

Anyone knows where can we get custom made stickers and emblems.

I wanted to do something like Audi's dashboard:

hmm...have u heard of otter color? That might be able to cover off the scratches. All you need to do is find the correct color. Here is the link.

Zen,

"Meanwhile there is a seperate module for the captor" there is already a module built-in into CPS? meaning to say all i have to do is to subscribe for CAPTOR service and no need to install their hardware 2K++??

BTW the new alarm system i plan to install also has a transponder i presume since without the keyfob inside the car i shouldn't be able to start the car. Are you saying other transponder may interfere with OEM unit/receiver?
Yeap mrL, i can't think of anythin else other than RFID.

BTW i got to work today. Spiroth you were right.
findings:
1. The chip must be within approx 1 cm from the keyhole
2. The chip must be near during the LOCK position itself before turning to ACC(if in Lock position the chip is not there, u turn key to ACC and then put the chip nearby... the engine won't start).
3. Once started if you remove the chip the engine remains running (tested for a bout 1 mins only)
4. Once engine stop/dies (if earlier the chip was removed after starting) we have to turn the key all the way to Lock position to start it back again with the chip in place. <-- very2 dangerous
*
The seperate module referring to additional black box which some wire connect to alarm module. Let's forget about your new alarm system, all i referring to is your existing alarm system.

Having AFR gauge will make it easier for me to play with the SAFC.

Get AFR digital meter instead, it's extremely hard for you to get actual reading with analog dial. If u have extra moo get Innovate LC1 (cheapest).

Dammm..... sweat.gif
Already saw that type.. Asking here and there about installing it.. No respond.. As i know, it will tap wire from o2 sensor... But claim not accurate as the one use for tuning...
Hahahaha.... whistling.gif
*
Actually not to tap from O2 sensor, you know why those say not acurate? It's because they use the wrong type of O2 sensor to get the reading. To use this Innovate, you have buy the Innovate O2 sensor together with the LC1 and mount or clip that O2 sensor on our piping. We should not tap the exiting O2 sensor to the LC1.

Oic.. Wrong knowledge then.. It is like install water temp or oil temp meter.. Need meter+sensor and adapter... So need to buy o2 sensor separately lah ekk.. Not nice if clip at muffler tip..
*
The best is make a hole on piping near to existing O2 sensor and place it there permanently. The O2 sensor not very expensive actually, it's around RM100 mark.

Ask them to dismantle, must as well dismantle urself as the damage is equal but it's done by you biggrin.gif

huaaaa... wish i could join TT... maybe next time...

suddenly got the urge to read the warranty coverage... read the service booklet and start to think... heck, most of the items are not covered in the warranty... it's almost like, something faulty and the cost of repair will be on us...

so, i was thinking... is it really worth it to keep this warranty??? it seems like the only thing the warranty covered is severe engine damage under normal use... but then, how big is the chance of that going to happen??? I mean, i already touch 20k km and nothing bad happened (and no sign of something really bad gonna happen) so what are the odds to have severe engine problem at this stage???

is there anyone who has their warranty voided (i think few ppl here already void their warranty coz i think i saw some mods discussion before...)??? what's ur opinion on this???

also, will DIYing the aux input void the warranty???
heat shrink tubes... hmmm... nice idea... but I think i'll go with wire tapes... the messy part is hidden anyway...
*
hahaha....if anything goes wrong then remove it before go SC claim lo....if the SC says ur car has been dismantle before then u tell them ur so unlucky to get rework car from factory hehehehe

haha... aux input is not an issue... just want to know... can straight away remove those wire without causing no harm...

but still, if we mod (change to aftermarket spark plug, lighting, electrical, drop in air filter, spark plug cable, bla bla bla...) how to change everything back before go to SC...  sweat.gif that's what i'm curious about... is it worth it? or not at all worth it... coz I start to think about doing minor performance mod... those performance mod will make me lose the warranty... but still, in my point of view it's like the warranty is nothing... but i might miss something... that's why i'm asking here... afraid i might miss anything... icon_question.gif
*
I dunno about others, but during my Gen2 time I've change LCD, ACP, drop in, spark plug, plug cable but still able to get warranty. It's depends on how you nego with them n luck man.

I'm using V1, to me V2 is nicer.
The difference is V1 rear is bigger compare to front, while V2 is same size from front to rear.

QUOTE(mrl @ Mar 6 2010, 07:29 PM)
just done 20k km major service today... can update first page...

Engine Oil - Shell Helix HX7 10W-40 - RM85
Brake Fluid (half-bottle only, the brake fluid decrease in amount) - RM9
ATF - RM154.55
Air Filter - RM23.71
Gasket Plug Oil - RM2.52
Fuel Filter - RM37.58
Oil Filter - RM12.22
Radiator Coolant - RM28.34
Screenwash - RM5.20
Spark Plug - RM38.00
Labor - RM105
5% Service Charge - RM5.25

Total Damage - RM506.35... quite high... sweat.gif

anyway, got one issue... SA said the brake pad is almost out... despite the mechanic is also surprised looking at my brake pad, i dont change the brake pad yet... they also said the reason my brake fluid decrease is because my brake pad is almost out... is this true???

is it really can happen after 20k km the brake pad is almost out??? given that I do use brake more often (heavy right foot in packed traffic... of course more brake too...  laugh.gif

but almost out??? and both SA and mechanics that test my car seems to be talking about my brakes too much... the mechanic even said while testing my car the brake is out once... but that's the only one time it's out... the brake didn't stop the car... but when the steering wheel is on my hand, the brake is all ok... please advice...  icon_question.gif

now i'm a little worried to drive fast...  sweat.gif

bt dub... there's no break squealing or whatever indicating brake pad is almost out... that's why I dont change the brake pad yet...
*
The thinner ur brake pad, the lower ur brake fluid.

*
If u use Autoguage brand then u can connect to existing O2 sensor. If u plan to buy LC1 then u need their digital guage + their sensor.
Have u saw the Autogauge A/F meter? It's really annoying to me with the non stop up/down needle and you can't even able to read the A/F at all.
