Ramsey get well soon!Hope you could come back at the end of the season to collect your winners medal then continue your rehab laugh.gif

On the side note, even after a night sleep I still have that rage for the Ramsey tackle, after reading the article on Arseblog. I totally agree with what was written. Who cares about whether its accidental or not?Whether there is intent or not, only the one that did the tackle knows. The result was there and I felt a severe punishment must be inflicted but well knowing since its was HONEST,NO MALICE Brxxxxh that did the tackle on Ol Johnny Foreigner (ironic isnt it all 3 horrific tackles on our team we witness were all inflicted by the same nationality players) it would be like the Martin Taylor punishment, a mere 3 match ban, heck even Song got banned for 2 matches for 10 yellow card, these kind of Mickey Mouse style punishment wasnt enough for these kind of challenges. It will just serve to let those who would do this intentionally think something like this 'Hmm,I could break that lad's leg and what I will get is just a 3 match ban while he will get decked for god knows how long' . I really wished we would never have the 'honour' to witness these kind of horrific injury anymore.

Rant over.

LOL!+1!!

QUOTE(super messi @ Mar 1 2010, 10:11 PM)
do we play burnley 1st or porto???  the remsey thing really make me sick...i dont wanna even think about it....when i put on my boots to play football just now...cant stop thinking about him...damn you showcross!!

Added on March 1, 2010, 10:15 pmand what is wrong with the English press?? why do they keep bashing Us and Wenger??? i think even SAF would be angry if one of his player got the same treatment...
*
We play Burnley 1st before Porto. The Ramsey situation..the more I think the more i felt sick.

Its normal for them to bash Arsenal since we are full with JOHNNY FOREIGNERS and our manager is a FRENCH which the ENGLISH hates. They hate us for being led to a whole season unbeaten not by an ENGLISH,but a FRENCH.We are bunch of whining J.FOREIGNER and we lack the ENGLISH GRIT AND PASSION and Arsenal don't LIKE IT UP EM.Remember they are just PLAIN HONEST AND HAVE NO MALICE.Who won't be mad if their players got the same treatment? The English press itself is a fiasco and one eyed..so in order not to let your blood pressure rise better avoid reading those news..Personally I find that the more they bash us=they are jealous of us=WE ARE GOOD (although I have to admit I would get mad reading those news laugh.gif ).

Sorry for the capital letters biggrin.gif

Off Topic - About rough football, see Benitez comments about the match against Blackburn..great sarcasm eg 'Barcelona wants to copy their style, good example for kids etc etc laugh.gif '

thanks. indeed a proper gesture. i love Cesc, not Henry-love but he's getting there

oh, while i'm still remember EFF U also Delap
*
I love Cesc as much as I loved Henry and Bergkamp.Ever since the 'allegations' of the pizzagate laugh.gif

On the other hand, screw the Stoke fans who chanted vile chants to Ramsey, the British press with the 'He's too fast,Shawcross is a kind player crap' and all the Stoke players and Pulis except Whelan who looked after Ramsey during the injury.Kudos to him and screw the rest laugh.gif and not to forget..screw the FA for being tiada bola and they should punish players like Shawcross accordingly.Intent doesnt matter, the end product matters and he should be punish accordingly. Is there a different rule for breaking ppl's leg outside the football field accidentally and breaking a ppl's leg accidentally in the football field..hmm I wonder.. whistling.gif

Those 2 are mentally deranged, sick c**ts.The one from Mirror Football is quite famed for his 'dogging' (for those who don't know what is dogging, google is your best fren laugh.gif ) in car parks,so who gives a crap what a useless piece of trash write? He write these thing , like what Arseblogger said, just to incite the anger and increase the hits. While the other..who in the blue hell was him?Saying sorry to Shawcross is the last thing I wanted to hear from Wenger.Heck I could even take the return of Cashley and Greedybayor to Arsenal more well than an apology to thugs.Shawcross even had the history of that with Jeffers and Adebayor (Strangely enough, all his targets were either Arsenal or ex Arsenal players sweat.gif )

As I said earlier intent doesnt matter, the end results matter. In law there is difference like manslaughter or murder. I sincerely hoped Shawcross would be punished for more than a 'Mickey Mouse' 3 match 'holiday'. Hopefully this 2 pieces of trash own leg got broken until they can eat their own foot. mad.gif

QUOTE(Phalanx @ Mar 2 2010, 03:20 AM)
I think most of us here, if not all, think that Shawcross does not have any intention to break Ramsey's leg. But as a lot of Arsenal bloggers and some of us here pointed out, focusing on Shawcross's intent is missing out the entire point.

What we're advocating is for players to be more responsible with their tackles instead of recklessly lunging about, so as to protect both the players themselves and the players around them. Had Shawcross been more careful with his tackles, Ramsey probably wouldn't have broken his leg and I'd probably be spared feeling absolutely sick about how the media and pundits are reacting to this. Likewise the FA and the referees have failed us because they seem to tolerate all these reckless tackles and naturally nothing was learned since the Eduardo incident. Both the FA and the referees can very well learn from some of the examples provided in this article:

Why Stoke Type Thuggery Is Not Allowed In Spain And Italy/

Then again, judging by how the media and pundits are jumping in to defend Shawcross with the same old tired excuses that they've used for Taylor after the Eduardo incident... it's safe to say that until it happens to one of the England star players, they wouldn't get the point we're trying to make into the thick numbskulls.
*
Wait until an ENGLISH STAR got that then we see the outrage laugh.gif

QUOTE(meaj @ Mar 5 2010, 10:47 PM)
Player A slept with his best friend's girl - "Let's give him moral support. He is our hero. We don't want him to lose focus. His best friend is a wuss anyway."

Player B tried to amputate another player's leg and left him a mangled wreck on the pitch
- "He's not that kind of player. He's with the England team. Don't upset him now. That stupid Welshman have made him cry already. Let's all stand behind our countryman now. To hell with that club of softy foreigners."

Just what the hell is going on here? Moral values and simple logics turned upside down. I bet Tiger Woods wished he was English now.
*
If they don't do that then they are not ENGLISH..LOL with the Tiger Woods stuff laugh.gif I don't care about Player A sick actions for now, while player B was 'rewarded' for the tackle with the England call up hours after the tackle (well that's what I felt during the heat of the moment). If people didn't know any details, judging by the support and portrayal of many parties on Shawcross, many would had thought that Shawcross was the one with the broken leg instead.I don't buy his crocodile tears either.More like crying because it was overboard rather than remorse.Ramsey was the real victim yet we could see more news/google results on how PITIFUL SHAWCROSS is and Ramsey became 'forgotten'.That to me was extremely sickening. That thug have no remorse. When will karma bites him back?I wish it will be fast and bad for him..

On a side note, I hope England will be knocked out in the group stage or knocked out at any stage before the quarters with total humiliation..

QUOTE(kimhoong @ Mar 5 2010, 11:26 PM)
I like the Tiger Woods part thumbup.gif

Anyway, it's subjective about the "Player A". But since he has nothing to do with us, I prefer not to comment further.

Back to Ramsey's case. I think the focus now is NOT Shawcross but the tackle. I am sure that most of us here wants the FA or FIFA can do something about this kind of incidents. At least, they should make a stand whether or not it is OKAY to break somebody's leg with a "late tackle".
*
Well to be honest I don't see any action/sanctions/punishments/new rules will be implemented by the FA or FIFA unless the media goreng about it like hell eg the Eduardo diving incident or someone high profile get decked like that..anyway we know the FA/media stance are ABA (anything but Arsenal) while FIFA is incompetent under Sepp Blatter..we would be thankful if he didnt implement any stupid rules..better to concentrate on winning our remaining fixtures than harbouring any false hopes bar a freak miracle laugh.gif

QUOTE(Zan81 @ Mar 6 2010, 12:58 AM)
Cannot tahan bloody English media...
I actually agree with the TW@T. But nobody said the tackle was malicious or vindictive. Arsene, Gooners and people with half a brain are saying that it was reckless, dangerous and therefore, quote AW, "unacceptable".
You could walk... With both legs... How the F does that make your weekend tough compared to Ramsey's?
Lets be pragmatic about it before jumping the gun on Theo. If someone threw him a question like this, "Theo, is Shawcross an overly physical player?"... Obviously he can't say "YES Shawcross is downright dirty b@stard who maims people for a living", cam he? Knowing that he is also on the same national team... A simple "No comment" would suffice... But that would have been spun by the English media as well as a sign of disrespect for mighty ENG GER LUND....
After one week... ONE BLOODY WEEK... I have only came across probably 2 articles on Guardian and Soccernet focussing on Ramsey and how his career may have ended before it even begun. If the offender is mentally affected, then the victim should be halfway to the happy hospital.

I am absolutely disgusted by the English media.
*
+1.Totally agree..The portrayal of Shawcross as the victim is plain sick. Quoting what I listen from the Arsecast . 'fxck Ryan Shawcross and his tough few days,Aaron Ramsey is going to have a tough nine months' biggrin.gif British media are driving my blood pressure up laugh.gif Looking forward if an ENGLISH star got decked by a fellow ENGLISHMEN..then got drama to see laugh.gif

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Mar 6 2010, 05:44 AM)
now to be fair, Shawcross did have his bad side in this tackle.

1. He's young. Obviously he cant lunge in his tackles well.
2. No one expect any tackle to break any leg
3. Shawcross is probably terrified by the tackle. Try to take note of him. I'm thinking he's never putting up a tackle ever in his football-ing career again.
Lets just get over with this matter shall we? The media is so wide across, you can't stop them from putting up these articles. And surely all these rants about media siding Ryan Shawcross aint gonna reach the medias.
*
Well point 1 might barely be acceptable (after all how does a thug knows how to tackle well? laugh.gif )

2. I could agree with you but not entirely. When a player lunged in recklessly eg Shawcross on Ramsey ,it wasn't surprising for an injury to happen.Just not the extent of Ramsey's horror injury.

3. This I totally don't agree. The thug already had 'proven' track record of smashing others leg or lunging in recklessly eg Jeffers,Greedybayor thus his crying stunt just give me the feeling of 'Oscar Academy Award Winning Performance'.So I believe he would still goes into tackle with the same recklessness and carefree attitude since the media/managers will give him a 'Free out of jail card' and making him look like the victim instead of the one get decked should the same kind of thing happens again.I sincerely hoped karma will bite him fast and hard.

And finally..the media bash us,we bash the media, its just human nature to react to provokes. Maybe your team hardly experience media witchhunt like Arsenal did eg Eduardo injury/diving and the current incident.Well its maybe just me.Thats my opinion and peace icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(little_mozart @ Mar 6 2010, 08:49 AM)
Agreed. To experiment it, we need some english nationality player's leg break. To make it works, let us pray that rooney & lampard's leg will be broken by someone French.

Karma will hit them.

Owen will out the rest of the season. hahaha eh..sorry. just a bit sarcasm
*
The bolded part should change into ENGLISH..then we can see how they react when its a fellow ENGLISHMEN instead of OL JOHNNY FOREIGNER that commit the 'sin'.

QUOTE(jam_lennon @ Mar 6 2010, 09:09 AM)
be cool guys, shawcross call up by national team have nothing to do with ramsey case, if not wrong, shawcross have been a candidate into the list before the match
*
Well the main issue here is Shawcross broke Ramsey's leg and yet still have a 'tough few days' compared to Ramsey's tough 'months' .I believe most of us were more mad at Shawcross breaking Ramsey's leg and/or the media portrayal of POOR SHAWCROSS. I admit the England call up during the heat of the moment I looked at it as a 'reward' for that stupid stunt. But after cooling down I look at it as a side dish instead of the main dish.
