As much as I'm enjoying the current scoreline there are still a few concerns IMO.
Although looking like he could produce that bit of magic and produce another goal for us at any minute Arshavin's casualness and sloppiness could cost us a goal at any minute as well. Nasri looked like he has done his hammie and really looked less mobile from before he was strapped. Fingers crossed its nothing serious IMO. |

from the 1st half, we should be 3 - 0 up instead of only 2 - 0. that miss by arshavin was almost unforgivable. he's been at the heart of some of arsenal's best moves, but he's also been at the centre some serious lackadaisical defending.
going forward, arsenal have looked VERY threatening, especially since bendtner brought his scoring boots today, but defensively, campbell and vermaelen are having a torrid time trying to contain falcao, especially the former. he's been pretty shaky the whole first half, but we've managed to get through the first half unscathed. let's hope that we will blitz them in the second half and then we can breathe easy.. even with a 2 - 0 scoreline, it's still quite risky.. |
