QUOTE(grotesk @ Mar 9 2010, 09:30 PM) Tested drive the 2.0 today! U so lucky can test drive the 2.0..i still dont have a chance to do that.Very very light steering, high responsive engine (can hear the beast sound)! Only stupid thing it's, the 2.0 DOES NOT have the "2.0" logo at the back. If you just glance thru, u will thought that it is a 1.6SX. Sales person said no need to do tint on windscreen, is that true?? yaa..that's correct..no 2.0 emblem at the back..i'm also disappointed. simple thing to differentiate between 1.6 & 2.0 but Naza Kia overlook at it. maybe i have to buy the 2.0 emblem later..perhaps the red coloured Civic's 2.0 emblem |

QUOTE(iluvena @ Mar 10 2010, 08:01 AM) thats what we want. with forte, other rivals must improve their specs to be competitive. but i doubt we'll get those high end specs in malaysia market. maybe VIOS TRD get. Yaa..that's good for us as a customers provided that all the extra specs doesn't come with the extra priceAdded on March 10, 2010, 8:57 am QUOTE(kiaforteclub @ Mar 10 2010, 08:18 AM) Hahaha..u funnylah bro KFC. i suggest u push the car from the back..sure the car move one..hehe This post has been edited by izputra: Mar 10 2010, 08:57 AM |

QUOTE(dukunet @ Mar 10 2010, 10:58 PM) thanks... btw, today i got to see 2.0 in showroom... it is with 6 or 8 airbag actually? bcoz i saw 8 point with airbag - driver+passenger and on A-, B- and C-pillars. If u count point by point like that..it actually got 10 airbags!!! Left curtain airbag got 3 points, Right curtain airbags got another 3 points (can see my pics at page 124), side airbags got 2 points in the backrest of the front seat (left & right) & another 2 points of airbag for driver & front passenger at the front (on the steering wheel & dashboard) = a total of 10 deployment points of airbag This post has been edited by izputra: Mar 11 2010, 07:53 AM |

QUOTE(redz3 @ Mar 11 2010, 10:01 AM) Emmm .. Changing forte's 215/45 R17 to 205/55 R16 will only increase radius by 1.06%. Hmm..me also thinking of changing to 16" rims & tyres for more comfy ride, better NVH & perhaps better pick up + fuel economy. but of course after the 17" rubber going bald http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp Better ride comfort and less tire noise. But will look less garang .. unless get a garang-looking rim design. This post has been edited by izputra: Mar 11 2010, 10:20 AM |

QUOTE(haroldz123 @ Mar 12 2010, 10:42 AM) Got someone in this forum test drove the 2.0 already..maybe that 'someone' can states his own experience details about the 2.0 Forte. as of now, no 2.0 buyers get their cars yetAdded on March 12, 2010, 11:15 am QUOTE(ICDeadPeople @ Mar 12 2010, 10:33 AM) I think forte is one of the car (that I can afford obviously) that I really like. Now contemplating between 407 or this. If u have enough budget & willing to pay 130++k for the 2.0 car, 407 as a D segment car (roomier) should be a better choice for u with a better specs (except no push start stop button..hehe). Any poison from forte's fan? But if u wish to save your money for other things & yet want to buy the best specs & value for money new 2.0L car, i must say that Forte is the best This post has been edited by izputra: Mar 12 2010, 11:15 AM |

QUOTE(Ox41464b @ Mar 12 2010, 11:24 AM) The only confirm words from Branch Manager's (HQ) mouth is that, 2.0 buyers can get their car latest by the end of this month (at least for the earliest 2.0 bookers). & if everything is going well, by end of next week or the week after, the car should be on the road already. Since that the cars (2.0) already in their showroom & he (branch manager) also sounds confident about his words, so i presume it should be true. so 2.0 bookers..we have less than 3 weeks before getting our cars. let us hope & pray that the car can be delivered ASAP within this month without any further delay or obstacles. |

no need to worry about that bro redz. if u booked the car (from dealer) last year, for me u booked it early enough & should entitled for the first batch of 2.0. Wait until the first 2.0 been delivered & then u can start chasing your SA. if your SA dare to say that no allocation of 2.0 for u for this batch, u can file a complaint to the careline. or if u have a prove later on that someone booked after u already got their 2.0, u can demand them to allocate one for u..else u will report it to consumer tribunal

QUOTE(dan137 @ Mar 12 2010, 05:00 PM) Both Forte 1.6 Gamma engine & 2.0 Theta II engine are newly developed engine..with better output & fuel economy. It is not the same as the old Kia Spectra engine anymore with lower output & bad fuel economy. since u have said that, so i welcome u to join us 2.0 Forte owners (to be)..hehe |

QUOTE(toytoy @ Mar 12 2010, 04:55 PM) I like the word timing chain, same as Pug and BMW etc. Last time i remember reading from somewhere stating that BMW's timing chain can last a life-time of the engine. but not sure about our Forte's timing chain though. perhaps someone can read it in the service manual?Timing chain no need to change at all or no need change that often? also not so easy putus right? |

QUOTE(yvroomc @ Mar 13 2010, 11:35 AM) Just got a call from SA.. saying my 2.0 will arrive on next Monday! Not sure how true but we shall see! arrive this Monday doesn't mean that it can be registered this Monday also right. Could u double confirm this matter with your SA? I believed that many 2.0s already arrived at stockyard & ready to be delivered. & yet, i agree with bro epo, arrived cars means nothing to us as a buyers if the cars cannot be registered & be OTR Added on March 13, 2010, 11:59 am QUOTE(bomberman @ Mar 13 2010, 11:29 AM) Sorry if i potong 'syok', i rather it arrive on 22nd as i only will be back on 21st... haha... just for my own case.... I'm thinking of buying the BK from bro perry, but he already requested the BK installer to paint the BK in Clear White right? If i wanna buy the BK from him, the BK need to be repainted to Metal Bronze. Dont know how much it will cost?cos really spend maybe 1 week or less in Malaysia only.... hopefully it can meet my timing... beside that, do u guys know that ou Bro Perry already cancel his 2.0 and go to BMW? so i'm now will need to travel alone to JB for the bodykits after collecting the 2.0... So, you want to join together? to install the bodykit?? (if i'm free) Added on March 13, 2010, 12:07 pm QUOTE(ruth1977 @ Mar 12 2010, 08:47 PM) Maybe we can exchange our numbers?
