I think its normal.. mine also have -drove all the way to Parit Buntar and notice something not pleasant... wind sound when drive above 80km/h close tight all windows but still same issue...might be bocor somewhere... @_@ -driving up Gurney Plaza's car park i heard something knocking at the engine bay....not sure what is it also... will be monitoring more often cos driving to work with this baby ^^ use to think it might be air con.. not sure.. but i read somewhere that others also have it. |

totally normal......and the tak tak sound is actually the air cond compressor solenoid being activated opening and closing the valve....so dont worry abt anything.

there is wind sound like whn u drive fast enough and the window is slightly open that type of sound...btw i do notice that the air intake at the front which is somehow "leper" in shape might be having the bottle neck effect because u see the air filter so big and the back piping for air intake is bigger in diamater...but air intake which is leper is so small only...

I do not know if this has been raised before, does anyone know why there is differences in the Services stated in the Service Booklet and Proton Center Service Manual. E.g - 1. ATF. Service booklet says every 40,000km, Proton Service center says every 20,000km. 2. Spark plug - Service Booklet State every 20,000km, Service center says every 10,000km.
The Service booklet state service every 10,000km, service center says must service every 5,000km. Which one do we follow, if I insist to follow the Service booklet will the warranty become void. I think this is kind of cheating, sell car, give you a service booklet stating what to service than when you go to service center, the service manual states differently. If there are changes to the service booklet than they must inform the owner of the changes. I may not buy a car if I know I need to change the ATF every 20,000kn while almost all other brand at 40,000km. Maintenance cost maybe one of the factor we may look into when buying cars. |

Is anyone here already trade in their original proton 14inch rim for sport rims?
Just wonder how much the rims can sell? |
