those are the grade and viscosity. im not really good at explaining but i refer to manual book to find which oil grade suits my car and my budget.
and the rest of the oil grade with higher price, i consider premium, which is better like longer service interval, smoother operation etc.
as long as you follow the service interval then its ok, some say oil grade is not that important but how often you service your engine oil that matters.
5k interval is good enough.

i believe ron95 and engine oil is quite unrelated, you can use 95 or 97 no matter what engine oil you use.

my current mileage is 30k++, i use shell helix hx7 10w/40..have been using it since 10k...if im not wrong

some might go for fully synthetic, claiming that it last longer..like 10k service period, but some have doubt the oil filter wont last till 10k..

so i stick to semi synthetic.

to be safe, refer to manual book. there are several grades that u can use.

sorry my previous link confused you. this one better. http://www.carbibles.com/engineoil_bible.html

SAE 10W-40?
SAE stands for Society of Automotive Engineer and it rate the viscosity of the oil.
The 10W means the viscosity of the oil at cold temperature(0 celcius) note that the W means Winter and the 40 means the density of the oil at high temperature(100 celcius)
Note that lower number means thinner oil, and higher number means thicker oil.

The variable viscosity at different temperature is obtained by the additional of polymer in the oil. At cold temperatures, the polymers are coiled up and allow the oil to flow as their low numbers indicate. As the oil warms up, the polymers begin to unwind into long chains that prevent the oil from thinning as much as it normally would. The result is that at 100 degrees C, the oil has thinned only as much as the higher viscosity number indicates. Another way of looking at multi-vis oils is to think of a 20W-50 as a 20 weight oil that will not thin more than a 50 weight would when hot.

Guys...Last few days i reported that my front left power window cannot work anymore when pressing button to wind it down. I have tried for few days but never helped.

Today, miraculously i could wind it down! What is wrong? Just have my new car for 3 months. Nobody encounters this except one forum member has replied to me to get help from SA....

how much you claim? is it in the claim includes new radiator?

if your radiator still alright maybe its not included in the claim..maybe somehow you can request for it if you found its damaged

they managed to claim more than what has been damaged.
And yet, I need to pay my own saman.. curse the workshop..

and, yes, they managed to claim a new radiator.
They are pro, so they know how, but they are stingy, wanna untung alot, so let me have the 'repaired' one instead.

Added on February 11, 2010, 2:26 pmdamaged or not, am not pro..
but can see the fins are fairly damaged.

if they have claimed new radiator, then it should be in your car now...you should just ask them bout it. your rights.

#Updates on Engine Died (RPM Rev to 8k before died)

Able to claim warranty. They say there is a sensor that is malfunction. I do not know what is that. But it only took 1hours from checking to call me to pick up the car.

Sad thing is.. i paid myself for towing.. argh~
