hmmm... is this showing us there're still more to be discover on the firmware as now all modder only able to play with the .rofs2/3 file and not the .core

XM, can check and see your Z:\Resource\Fonts folder have what inside? check if those chinese language fonts not there?

2. S60TCHK_C.ttf (2.89MB)
3. S60ZDIGI.ttf (33.53kb_

aik?? sama sama here leh... ur e:\resource\fonts or c:\resource\fonts got anything or not??

no .. E:\ dont have but i need to copy the S60ZDIGI.ttf (413KB) to C:\Resource\Fonts bcos the Orange Tornado failed to read the Z drive S60ZDIGI.ttf (33.53KB)

why ur S60ZDIGI.ttf soo big in size??? u might need to use the font reader to check is it genuine s60zdigi.ttf or a "renamed" fonts hehehe... i have both s60zdigi.ttf both only ~34kb in size leh...

Added on February 9, 2010, 6:20 pmi do notice the phone able to reinstall back some of those "signed" apps after the hard reset... so thinking it might storing something on the E: drive for those installed apps info... only donno where leh... maybe the E:\ sys/system/private folder?

nah, im using FrancophilSansPlus.ttf .. its 413KB i found this font suits me

no wonder lah... aiyo don't confuse ppl with font name change eh
if not later ppl asking "why the heck u can get ur tornado working only with the s60zdigi.ttf installed??"
i think no matter what name we change the system will discover the actual fonts name and load it if it been put in the right place...

My C:\Resource\Fonts has only S60ZDIGI.ttf (413KB)

others fonts i dont have .. tats wat i wondering, since i dont need the other fonts

hahaha... it's because u have the proper fonts been place inside the c:\resource\fonts but only with the confusing name changed hahaha yup i do agree the tornado only need 1 supported font for it to show those menu items, but the original modder just simply ask us to copy all 4 fonts for the EU/US region to fix the square box error...

xm, r u using PNHT 09 feb custom firmware? chinese language still there?

no, i flashed my fone with standard v40 (only ROMPatcher modded) .. i just flashed the firmware with FP RM356_40.0.005_023_xxx_U01.uda Hacked.fpsx tats all ..

they released the PNHT version today im not sure this PNHT 09 feb custom firmware has Chinese lang or not ..

my gallery got alot pics....when i scroll down...some of the pics not yet loaded....see a white tile oni...how ah...got faster way ?...i wan smooth scrolling with nice thumbnails..

i've extracted the PNHT 09FEB cfw and it don't have chinese language support...

wait for it to load 1st leh .. next time loading sure fast one, bcos its building thumbnail

use the editor to extract > copy the chinese fonts > repack > flash?? i think it might be work out loh...
but make sure u know how to revives if the phone brick...

oic..mean i put my gallery on for few minutes...give it load all 1st...then next time will be nice already?

eh..i try d...scroll through all my images slowly..then quit, then i go in gallery>images again..still same..nid to wait it to load... ..

it does not cache the thumbnails in a special folders??.....

and b4 i open gallery, ram is at 47mb..now 39mb..

then u cant use PNHT 09 Feb, u have to use the link above i gave .. tat one has Chinese lang support
