Yeah Without the network wire plugged into this laptop... i get 20-49kbps only XM... I think we should wait 2-3 weeks more for the v41 to come out... because once it comes out.. everyone will be making CFWs for it, and no one will be using these versions... Since its just few weeks, i advise you to lay back and do a lil more research on the files, instead of making CFWs again and again xD

For all phones.. By flashing the Xploit Machine's CFW, or any other cfws, this is the only way to hack your v40 firmware so far..

To get Vodafone HS, you need a hacked phone to copy and edit files on your system folders... Unless you like in the UKs Because we need to rename something to make it support our SIM card operator..

i dont know how to flash with JAF Only Phoenix.. Will try now with apleorangefruits 6th CFW If not good enuff i will flash back phnt 1

Hey, i dont get appleorangefruit's 6th cfw chinese and english rar file, He has uploaded a part 1 and part 2 to it, after downloading, i tried to extract, it didnt ask for part 2, and when i try to extract both together, they asked to be overwrited, is there a part 1 and 2 or do i need to just flash one of em? Cause part 1 is already 33 MB

Which one did you download? The English & Chinese one or what?

XM... In FP Under flashing you said this on JAF tutorial:
1. Extract original firmware v40.0.005 to:
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-356 or
- C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-356 or
- Or any path detected by JAF Service Suite by default.

2. Extract the hacked ROM to the same the path above (Overwrite existing file if have).
3. Open JAF Service Suite
4. Tick the Manual Flash and tick Dead USB and untick CRT308.
5. Tick Use INI. (In about 2 seconds, a pop-up appears, now type RM-356 (Name would be 5800D-1).
7. Switch OFF your phone and Plug USB to ur Nokia 5800XM, then select PC Suite.
8. Click FLASH button, then got popup dialog box.
9. Click YES, then turn ON your phone (A log searching the phone, press power button ONCE don't press long).
10. Wait for flashing to complete.

I dont get number 7. How can you switch off the phone and still select PC suite to flash??? O.O

Theres 2 parts to it right? Which one to select? Because both are 33MB, so it isnt a joined file, what is the difference between them? And... can i have the modded Calibri now?

xD How do you get the Redefined menu, i installed it, it worked, but the icons are messed up, and some have just yellow folder icons... But everything IS well organized.. can upload the redefined menu that you used?

Okay... Now really konpiused The exe file which contains the v40 extracted millions of file in the correct paths... most of em are dcp files that is 14kb and vpl files which are 5kb... then at the bottom there are the 7 original files, but they have no product code in the file name, so, how do i replace the v22 file if i don know which is fir which prodcode? So, can i delete all the files there, and get the files from NaviFirm, and replace the v22 file?

But i saw many dpl and vpl files based on all other product codes o.O like thailand japan and all.... So which to overwrite? Phoenix easier as you can edit the files after pick...this JAF you have to put them together...

Okay, got prob with JAF, when i tick use ini, nothing in the box, but when i simply click somewhere, it selected the correct prod code and FW version, btw, the path is in Products folder..not RM-356 folder... I dont want to risk selecting a RM 428 FW, but the thing is that i downloaded RM 356 V40 RED Manually by NaviFirm, and the path only have 1 type of FW... so is it safe to just flash? Or do i need to pick which type to flash (5800D1 crap) i cant, as the words are somewhat 'invisible'... Please reply fast

Nothing appeared when i tick Manual Flash... JAF so ma fan... Let me do the steps above and see...
