Found this guide on another website on how to change the capabilities of a developer certificate:

http://www.dotsis.com/mobile_phone/s60v3-r...es-devcert.html

Tried changing a OPDA DevCert from 17 caps to 20 caps and it worked. Should be useful for those who want to use ROMPatcher on Nokia firmwares without hacking it.

Also I found that a 20 caps root cert can be used to sign sis too, apparently the sis can be installed but it will tell you that it's from an untrusted source. The root cert I got is from FreeSign from this site:

After flashing, if i don't like the XFW, how do i flash back to original firmware? I can't find any tutorial on flashing back to original firmware.

Same as how you flashed the XFW, just replace the hacked XFW File you downloaded with Origial FW file and flash icon_rolleyes.gif

no difference..it just add the additional Nokia Models in the model list box.. (in case ur 5800XM is not in the list as per dD_se7en's case)
*
I see.. XM says if list dont show, dont simply click, it will brick the phone.. Revive method is the same as flashing right?

if the list is empty how to click?  hmm.gif  i think XM means that dont simply click wrong model  nod.gif  and yeah Revive method is the same as flashing but need to put original firmware

I expierienced list empty b4... Simply click at blank space, and the box will disappear, then at the line there below the 5 green circles, shows your prod code and FW version, but i think the list there is asking you to select flashing method? hmm.gif Maybe later you select n97's flashing method instead of 5800 laugh.gif Then will sure brick...
