fruitie: thanks for the edit, but the pic is actually within rules (1024x768). you can right-click and view info to verify this. could be a problem with your browser font size(?).

waggygee: i set the camera to long shutter speed (15 secs) with flash set to trigger towards the end of the shot. i stood stationary in one spot for a good 10 secs or so and moved closer to the camera just as the flash was triggered.

(sorry - don't know how to put it in a more technical term, lol).

@achew: thanks for the info. that was a fantastic shot, btw (blurry cloud, aside!).

@jootat: is this HDR effect? somehow it seems over done to me, ended up looking too "unreal" imo.
