Just got to know Flickr don't show exif for browser plugins if posting non-original size pics. SMH...

Weird how LR strips the lens info from the EXIF when exporting.

^ LOL. Macro is just one type pf photography. There's lots more other stuff to learn if you're into it. Come back to macro one day and you might take a different look at it. If you're interested, the raynox DCR-250 can be used on the LX3, Rm250 though...

my turn to increase post count:

I wonder if there're anyone else out there doing photowalks everyday religiously?

Dude,

this thread mainly for photos from DSLR....go back to your iPhone thread. Pls read 1st page before post
*
Honestly, that pic he posted didn't look half bad. Esp the 2nd one. Of coz there's a dedicated thread for camera phones, and first page already stated there no camera phone, but still... Don't need to call ppl go back to *insert place here* gua. I would predict a different comment if he did not post the camera model in the EXIF. Which is also the same reason why I dun post my camera info. Totally irrelevant to judge whether a pic is pleasant or not.

I dunno if it's just me or wut, but I would reserve that kind of comment if the picture posted was as awful as a thoughtless snapshot. No hard feelings yea? I really like the 2nd pic r3kahsttub posted. blush.gif

It's sad a distinction has to be made b/w phone cameras and 'proper' cameras. One side Chase Jarvis is promoting the use of whatever camera you have at the moment, the other side majority of phone camera shots are really thoughtless snapshots. Did I mentioned I liked r3kahsttub's 2nd pic?

This pic is cropped from a bigger shot. Is there any better way I can frame this?

LOL i've acknowledged that I know what the thread is for. Just sad to see a distinction.

@r3kahsttub, haha, dun tell ppl I said that.

@climacool, nope, it was a sunny day, with the sun almost backlighting the petals. No money for flash yet :-(

that Tyrannosaurus pic is fantastic! BTW HDR is not about making the photo look fake and CGI-ish. Most HDRs we see which have halos and extreme effects are overcooked. HDRs are supposed to look like how mastering89 did it.

If you look closer enough still can see faint halo though, if you're into that kind of thing.

Need help getting rid of the greyish tint that appears in my pictures everytime the preview image goes away, as seen on the dog's nose. (like at first the color is nice, when the picture finishes loading there's this grey tint on it, using lightroom. I did the camera preset thing, but the greyish tint is still kinda noticeable.)
