Sweet couple ~~~ Please visit my blog for more photos

Camera Model - Sony A230
Lens - 18-55 SAM (kit)
Aperture - f/11
Shutter Speed - 1/125 s
Focal Length: 55 mm
ISO - 100

PP-ed to Sepia tone
*
I like the tone, but I feel that if you put the subject (the cute boy and girl) a little bit up, giving it a more eye level look and less 'overhead' would have a better impact. (really couple ar? The boy is cute leh .. )

How slow/fast was your shutter? Looks like got camera shake. Singaporean car, can see. but I think for this shot, if you had turned on the cabin light to give it a little ambient. Could probably remove the dots on the windscreen.

Since this is my 1st time shooting macro, i hope all the sifus can shoot(positively) as hard as possible to help me improve...

yeah, i know this is abit OOF

2)

*
One thing I like and notice about macro photography is that, photographers always like to have the 'body' of their insect blurred. Why? Another important thing is always focus on the eyes. When you look at a living thing, the eyes is always the thing that people look at first. If that's clear, psychologically the picture will look clear. (unless it's really messsed up)

Where's the EXIF?

I like how you frame this, but if you put in a little more butt, would look nicer. ( Unless his butt not nice )

Seen this guy before. I think it's a little under exposed. Especially with people with darker skin tone. Sometimes it's also good to use the adjustment brush on Lightroom to fix it.

Everyone promoting anti cigg campaign and here you are showing a lighted ciggy. I feel that it could be 1 stop or 1/3 stop higher to give it a more brighter look. It kinda lacks the highlights right now.

Nice way, nice colors, but the background a bit off. Something less contrasting would be nice. Secondly is your models, some under the shade, some under the sun. Either get all of them under the shade, or bake them. hehe

Very red, very ong tongue.gif

but the focusing a bit off, if you look at the tip of the mailbox on the right hand side. It's a bit distracting, actually.

The sky is good, the background is good but your foreground is too dark! A fix on Photoshop would definitely make it looks better.

Most of the shots I think is not properly framed. Sorry to say this but it looks very normal.

Example, your first shot, you have got nice lights on the top. Some really good lighting at the center. But the chrismas looking lights on the trees, are way too distrating.

Second shot, I assume your target is the tower, but I find it too distracting with the lights on the right roof. If you are showing the picture as a whole with no certain subjects, then what is that 2 half lantern doing on the left side?

Third, your angle a bit too low, like trying to do upskirt picture like that. sad.gif

I like the contras that you have on the picture. The highlights and the exposure is just perfect. What I cannot see is what are you trying to show. Remove the blue oil filter on the bottom right side of the picture, it would be better then!

Are you on auto mode on this? or perhaps semi auto? The snow confused the camera, and thought it was over exposed. A quick bump of the exposure should fix the problem. Remove that thing on the left side of the picture too tongue.gif

try cropping the picture to only the head with the clutter of bubbles and the hand holding the bubble stick. I think that would look much more better than a full body one.

haha..yup..it suffers from a lil bit of motion blur with my not-so-steady-hands...the shutter was 1/5s..my comfortable zone would be 1/30s and above >.<
actually the original shot was alot brighter..it was my post-processing that causing it to be darken..im suspecting the dots might b dust/sand tho..coz the picture was taken after i drove it for a ride..and there was a lorry with lotsa sands infront of me..lol..my bad for not noticing it in advance..could have remove it during my editing..now lazy already..zzzz..

another point&shoot shot from me..
