QUOTE(Fantasia @ Jun 20 2010, 02:12 AM) not cpu and gpu but the ventilation itself. If the ventilation itself is hot, how does it affect the performance? Will the machine slow down to a melt down or something? I'm kinda worried. Additionally, does this happen to both i5 and i7? |

Laptop hardware is built to run hot ok.. Don't worry bout the performance.. Is fine... As long as it doesn't reach 100 'C.. Mine maximum, i saw 95'C... Still ok... Using C2D though.. dunno bout i5 and i7 |

it's more like, there's problem with the design of the vent of SXPS16...
it's built such that the bottom of the monitor would be blocking the vent when it's opened up... the latest Apple MBP is also designed in such a way... and u see how hot it can get... i am abit skeptical abt quaddies in SXPS16... This post has been edited by astria: Jun 20 2010, 12:07 PM |
