I don't understand why he is suddenly doing this... Maybe it's from the stress of losing his cagemate. cry.gif

Guys, what do you think of this?! Is this for REAL?! Albino sugar gliders have finally landed in Malaysia?
*
that picture was taken from somebody's sale page in US....
saw it long ago...

i do not know if he/she really has it...but what i know is he/she isn't showing the real picture which in my personal opinion...is trying to cheat
cos if i, myself has an albino glider, definitely i'll take some pic of mine n show it...instead of taking other ppl's pic n display it as my own's

Ppl in this forum, most of the time r just concerned about the pets. that's y we point out the errors that the owners have made. we might sound harsh, some even say we r flaming, but why dun these ppl think first...if there's no error, we have nothing to flame right?

we r all here, not for just a few months or what...we have seen a lot...we r tired of giving the same advise over n over again when it's all in the first page...

we understand that there are those who r new here that wish to learn, we will guide whenever we can...
but for the obvious things...pls research first...to avoid being flamed.

just listen to the advise given, digest it n learn from it, or even discard it if u think it's not a good advise...if ppl flame u, just take it as an advise
no need to be upset cos ppl scold u rite? ppl can say what they want...but most importantly, these ppl that flame u, do give u the advise, jsut a bit of their anger in the advise...

ya..i'm try to find out wat she really like

or else hv to make a blended food for her blink.gif
*
Sometimes gliders r very picky.they just eat whatever they like for a whole week.then next week they won't even touch that food.dun look for their favourite food, give mixture.give less of what she likes n more of others so that she has no option but to eat others as well.
Blending fruits with vege is a good way too.

QUOTE(glidermama @ May 21 2010, 04:36 PM)
they dont breed so i'm not worried about that..i just feel that it's unfair to the others who have to put up with something they cant stand when i can do somethg to prevent it..so far the males complain the loudest the ladies not so bad...cute factor wins over smell i guess.

this guy has a bald patch that would put bruce willis and kojak to shame!

Added on May 21, 2010, 4:39 pmoh and one more thing...apparently there's a less invasive technique to neutering similar to the ismael clamp used for circumcision which involves tying up something until the thing falls off like dried umbilical cord instead of surgery..anyone knows anythg about this?
*
Read bout it long time ago. Dun think anybody practice it here though. Most probably the glider will feel irritated and uncomfortable. Eventually the'll try to chew it off. Then the chance of getting infections are very high. Not recommendable.

ok ok calm down

well from what advice ppl gave me is 10 months female is suitable to be introduce to a matured male..i think it's fair enough..well possibility of pregnancy depends on the fertility and health of the gliders..i read before that the female can keep the male sperm for a period of time...do correct me if i'm wrong..
*
I would say 6 months is the bare minimum.or at least till the female has stopped growing, else it would affect her growth or internal organs.

N yes, they can keep the sperm for up to a year!then only breed when the time n condition is right for them.

then it's ok to put them together
lol! no problem

Added on June 13, 2010, 12:37 pmthe concern is that the male joey will mate with the mother..
but usually that won't happen as the father will be the alpha male...
rest of the male dun get to mate
but better to neuter them to avoid any accidents
